We all know how the first one went down in Germany with a controversial UD victory to Arthur Abraham who retained the IBF Middleweight World Title.
The Re-match will be in the US and LIVE on SHOWTIME on June 21st.
They will now fight at a catch weight of 166 pounds and this has FOTY written all over it.
Lots of bad blood between these two... WHO YOU GOT??? VOTE :boxing:

Being in Florida, I am surprised of that also. I could see a pick em at best. But no doubt the smart money goes on Miranda, and I think Miranda by UD is the smartest of all. Great return for an outcome that is very realistic.
Anyhow, yes, Miranda is doing absolutely fantasic with his weight for the first time that I can remember before a fight (especially this far out). I agree about where the weight is coming from could be a factor, but since he has been sparring and training in the low 170's this past week, I am pretty confident that he is going to be fine. The last few pounds should come off easily the next few days. He will be arriving on Tuesday morning and there is a public workout the same afternoon.
you are lucky to be there Panther Boy...
Please Congratulate Arthur for me after the fight ;)

So you say Miranda is in great shape?? I hope so!
I think in the fight against Banks he was a bit to massive and he seemed to be slow before he landed that great KO punch.
I dont think he will be as heavy or gain as much weight for this. For one it is at 166lbs vs 170lbs. Also he is 'naturally' closer to weight this time without draining quickly and rehydrating. So after weigh in, he probably wont rehydrate as much. Id say he walks into the ring around 180lbs, 12lbs less than for Banks.

thats fine...
and I notice you are choosing your own words very carefully so NOT to be quoted on the 22nd...
We can only take that as a sign of weakness and low confidence ;)
MAY THE BEST MAN WIN MY FRIEND...
we can probably both agree that as an overall well rounded boxer, Arthur Abraham has the superior skills...
Miranda has to catch him slippin to stand a chance... I trust Arthur to be sharp enough not to get caught.
Don't worry vanes. Pantera2000 has made plenty sig worthy quotes in the build-up to this fight!
But I'm not one to use those kind of ownage-tactics.............. I think........
or maybe I am just trying to rationalize my risky bet. I can't believe the bookies have AA as the favourite, he shouldn't be.

Guys, the difference maker will be how comfortable Miranda is at 166. Abraham should have no problem but if Miranda struggles with the weight, which I think will happen. That's where I see the edge for AA cause he'll be able to take his breaks and Miranda won't have the energy to take advantage of that.
From what I've heard, Miranda is doing alright with weight.
Yes and he consistenly makes sure his feet are securely placed behind on an invisible line.
I hope he cures that part.
I will never forget him lighting up Codrington. I thought Jaidon was dead.
Green did knock down Miranda in the 8th of their fight. It's hard to know the degree his medical problems hampered him in that fight.
162 pounds is too light for him. Green has been a light heavyweight before and melting down looks like it took something out of him.
Heres some footage of Allan Green, who stylistically is nothing like Edison Miranda. He makes excellent work of his jab, throws quick, short left hooks and counters very well.
Allen Green was by all means NOT a superior boxer lol... if anything he was a weaker carbon copy of Miranda...
Abraham has SKILLS my friend.
Carbon copy of Miranda?
I don't think so. Green is a solidly skilled, former National Golden Gloves Champion who is well respected for his technical savvy.
I think the difference will be that Mirandas power shots will not get through Abrahams tight D whereas Abrahams wild combinations will land on Mirandas chin. Abraham is the clear favorite to me and I hope he pulls it off and gets the Pavlik fight, but Miranda is just always as dangerous as anyone can be. Thats why its an exciting fight. Abraham should beat Miranda 8 times out of 10.
I hardly see Abraham as technically superior!
He clams up, throws some wild, aggressive WIDE punches and clams up. Everyone thought Allan Green was some superior boxer and you see what happened to him. Kessler is technically superior. I will give him that, but no way is Abraham.
