I am sure this thread has been made before but i dont feel like diggin, so lets just start a new one. How long have you guys been watching boxing religiously?
I been around boxing all my life since my family would have parties for all the big fights like the Tyson and DLH fights, but i did not get hardcore until DLH-Hopkins, so i have been watching boxing as a hardcore for almost 4 years.

Since dad took me up in the middle of the night to watch Foreman-Ali. Dad told me about the 2 fighters and I remember I liked Foreman because he was such a big puncher. Dad liked Ali because he was elegant and funny. I was 7.
Religiously? Around 1995 when I was 14.
My first anticipated fight was Tapia v.s. Romero in 1997. I mean that was the superfight of all superfights to this day. In my perception.
Do you live in New Mexico? That fight was like Ali-Frazier there.
I been watching and around the sport since I was a baby. Although I do not remember it, as a baby my mom took me to my dad's 2nd or 3rd pro fight as almost a new born. But I went to the gym around the age 2 and I have been following and watching boxing every since...I'm now 23....its been awhile. I still kinda wish I was boxing instead of playing football. :boxing:

1908??it doesnt make sense, u would have to be at least 120 yrs old, but thats impossible if u have great grand children.

ive been watching boxing since 92-93 on and off, but more so since 99' and even more so for the past 3 years.
I remember watching Boxing when I was young and it was the glory years of Tyson. One of the first fight's I remember watching is when he beat Berbick. Plus my dad used to watch fight's on HBO all the time when I was growing up. There have been year's where I haven't watched very many fights, but as of about 1998 i've been a pretty serious wathcer.
First fight I can remember watching was Pazienza/Camacho in 1990. I was 8 at the time so I'm sure I watched it before then, just thats when I was old enough to start taking a real interest in it. I watched it every time it came on TV. My dad and grandfather were big fans and got me into it. When PPV came around my grandpa ordered them all and me and my brother would go up to his house and watch them.
Took a break for a couple or three years and didnt watch boxing. Was after the Augustus vs Burton 1 fight were the judging was completely horrible. Seemed like a lot of bad decisions were going on back then and that fight just was too much and me and my dad both said we werent watching it anymore. And we didnt for a while.
I been watching boxing for a long time.. like another person said my parents always ordered the big PPVs and had fight parties.. also we had a black box at one point so we got them free too. :D I have been into it religiously since 2003 though so I would say 4-5 years.
