Las Vegas vs. London Boxing Show! Today @ Palace Station in Las Vegas.

A few years ago I was going to sign up at Barry's if I remember correctly it was like 80 bucks a month or something. I had too much things going on, but thats a nice Gym and you have Top Rank right next to it. You ever go to the Boxing shows at the Orleans? those are probably the best shows for the price, I go to most the shows like the top rank shows at the Hard Rock. I haven't been to the last few though, they been pretty weak. Nah, I was gonna go last time but I think it was Tye Fields fighting and I didn't wanna pay for that shit lol. It's 25 a month for amateurs below the age of 21 and 50 for the fellas over 21 and the pros.. The first month is about 80 dollars though since you have to register for amateur boxing and that's 35 bucks plus pay the month and buy your wraps. I love it! Augie Sanchez is always there too! He married Pat Barry's daughter I guess and works at the gym! I barely started getting into the scene hear in Vegas though, before I have only been to major fights.. haven't been to any of the smaller ones though. If you know of one let me know and I'll go.

So what? what does that have to do with anything man? I am a fan of both and others can be a fan of both if they please...stop getting intimidated by MMA taking over as the real combat sport dude. Times change bro face it! even when boxing was around it evolved and now Combat Sports evolved into MMA with more options people wanna see what happens when you can take a fight to the ground, or use knees and kicks etc... I guarantee you so many times when watching a boxing match and the guy doenst wanna fight and runs like dirrel did you scream and say FIGHT! Well in MMA if a guy tries to run the guy can charge them and take them down...I have wished I could grab a dude when I sparred and he just ran from me in boxing! And that is some of the allure of MMA. They are forced to fight. I am fan of Combat sports I love fights...be it mma,kickboxing,boxing by the way I have been a true supporter of boxing! I have been to many AM shows and have donated money I usually give 20-50 bucks at the shows...so eat that dude. I guarantee you that if I make a poll right now in the lounge and ask if you consider yourself a fan of both or just a fan of boxing.. 90% of the lounge will say just boxing.

Sad to say nobody i s gonna watch it CBS is having the first ever Live MMA event on network free tv tonight at 6pm pt... :ugh: Boxing fans aren't MMA fans and normally only boxing fans show up to AM events..
