I have started seeing people being labelled racists on the thread unfairly.
Its natural for white people to root on white boxers and coloured people, like myself, to root for coloured fighters, but its not right to start labelling people as racists, its a term which is too lightly used these days.
The fact of the matter is that when it comes to Tye Fields there are no color boundaries.
He is loved by Black, White, Purple, Green, Yellow and Red men.
You want to talk about loved. That is the man right now.
Not only will he end racism and hatred between all man kind.
If there is ever a nuclear attack, he will be waiting where the Nuke is suppose to hit and swallow it whole before it gets a chance to explode.
Our savior for all mankind
Son of a bitch. Tye "fuckin'" Fields. Fields doesn't believe in racism because there are only two races: the God race (which he is a part of), and everybody else.
I only like to live around white folks and mainly root for white fighters...does that make me a racist? :puppy_dog
no because blacks tend to do the same.........
humans are tribal.
its mother nature
You know, I could've sworn that Wladimir lives in LA and has American citizenship...

I would get madder if someone labeled me a racist as a boxing fan than it they did in real life. I simply don't watch boxing with any racial or national agenda, and I lose respect for anyone who obviously does. Believe it or not, you can root for Wladimir Klitschko to beat Tony Thompson and still be patriotic to America. Our country really can survive the setback and still be great.

I think it's ridiculous to suggest someone is racist based on who they root for. I notice when I go to fights, all the black people are rooting for the black fighters. Do you consider them to be racist? Why is there a double standard?
We live in a free country and so we are free to root for whoever we want. I honestly don't root for fighters based on race, but I'm aware it may seem like that sometimes.
I root for fighters who have courage, good sportsmanship, are law-abiding outside the ring, don't trash talk about their opponents, don't use dirty tactics like head-butts inside the ring, and don't whine and make excuses when they lose. If there tends to be more Latin and white fighters who have those qualities, then that should explain why I root more for them. There are some black fighters like Shane Mosley who have those qualities so I root for him, and some white fighters like Charlie Zelenoff who do not, so I hope he loses.
So if Mosley ever fights Zelenoff, I'll be rooting for Shane.
Tunney
1 no one is saying u are racist because of who u root for , whats racist is making the distinction of who u are rooting for by the colour of thier skin
2 the black guys u see rooting for black fighters ,how do u know they are rooting for that particualr fighter because of his skin colour u dont ,u have admitted u do that they might be rooting for the black guy cause he is more entertaining ,Denzel Washington /Wesly Snipes were rooting for Floyd against Hatton does that make them racist off coarse not would it be racist of them to claim they were rooting for Mayweather because they happen to have the same colour skin hell yeah & u think this is acceptable i hope u aint got kids cause they are gonna pick up some strange sets of values from u
u should stay out of these kinda debates Tunney

Yes, your free to do what you want but that doesn't mean everyone has to agree with it.
The last part of your post is ironically racist in itself. Your essentially saying that's is the exception rather than the norm for black fighters to display "good" qualities.
I never said Litzau would KO Pacquiao. Addison made that up.
Of course, Pacman would easily KO Litzau! Here's what I think of Litzau:

I won 10000 points betting AGAINST Litzau. I don't like white hypes like him, because they justify the racist belief that all white boxers are inferior. sure sure, nice editing job
i love how you always edit your posts to get rid of evidence, addison already confirmed that, and he quoted you on that comment. and you made that thread after everyone gave you shit for it
Liar!!!!

you're a joke man
Ignore those assholes and keep rooting for black fighters. It doesn't mean you're a racist at all.
A racist is someone who hates people of a certain race or nationality. There are a few racists here who hate all Latin fighters, or all white fighters, or all black fighters. Every time a fighter of that race they hate wins, they'll discredit him and try to prove he's really no good.
But your rooting for black fighters because you're black is not at all racist, it's only natural! To love your own race or nationality is okay, it's just hate for other races or nationalities that's not. what a hypocritical piece of shit. how about telling everyone how you give out 100 red ks to people who like ali. how about you giving out 100 red k to those who disagree on klitschko
if i were you id just shut the fuck up and sit tight. that doesnt change the fact that you're the biggest racist on the entire site
im disgusted with you man, i have zero respect for you.......lowlife

Your trying to rationalize that it's ok to prefer white fighters.
Being a racist is someone who supports racism, hate is only a part of it. If your hiring for a job and you choose a white person over a black or latino person because you feel more comfortable with them, that's racist plain and simple. Hate didn't even come into the equation but it's still racist nonetheless.
Tell me this, what is it that you have on common with white fighters that makes you want to support them other than skin color?
i cant believe Tunney has the audacity to comment on race issues he is clearly ignorant when it comes to racial issues
when i put a fight on i dont even make the distinction of who is white and who is black i just watch the fight and if i do route for anyone it is the guy who is more entertaining

There are many racists though, I see a bunch of dudes on here who refuse to give anyone but a black fighter credit.. and if a white/latin/other ethnicity fighter wins against a black fighter it's always because of something.. same with some of these white cats and latinos.
There is a lot of it going around.
the racism only becomes a problem when someone your debating with tries to pass off his racial biases as opinions based on facts. For example when Tunney argues how certain fighters can do no wrong.. it's fine that he supports mostly white fighters but it becomes silly when he acts like that is not all that motivates his opinions.

Why even let it get to you, if people know it will get to you they'll use it. If your not a racists why would it bother you, it's someone typing on a computer that you will never see... You REALLY care what they think?!
