How much of an Upset would it be if Lockett beat Pavlik?

Huge upset unless Pavlik gets exposed as a one dimensional slugger.

Okay he did beat JT twice but the 2nd matchup was hella close and the first one he could been out in the 2nd round! Pavlik is good but he can be hit and has a suspect chin. I dont expect him to lose anytime soon but I could see him losing to anyone that can pack a punch.Suspect chin? He got hit FLUSH like 5 times in a row in the second round, survived it, and came back the third round to dominate Taylor. Miranda by many people is considered to be one of the strongest hitters P4P, and look what happened to him. Of course the second match up was close, it's Taylor for god's sake, when was the last time Taylor lost a convincing decision?

Lockett probably won't win, but i wouldn't completely rule him out.

It would be an enormous, almost unprecedented upset. I would be totally amazed if Lockett even manages to go the distance. Are you serious? Can you not think of a bigger upset? I can think of much bigger upsets; Lennox Lewis v Hasim Rahman Buster Douglas v Mike Tyson - Buster was 45/1 to win. Honeyghan v Curry. There is more.

I've never seen Lockett fight, but I have heard that he has a good chin and has legitimately dangerous power. It would be a major upset, but not an unbelievable one.

It would probably be upset of the year. I mean Pavlik isn't the most athletically gifted man out there, but you can't discredit him with wins against Miranda and Taylor twice. BTW two of those victories he brutally destroyed his opponent.

I think the only reason why he is considered as the next big thing is because hes white(im white btw, so not starting anything). Pavlik is big guy but he really doesnt do much for me, he has poor D and one of the guys at 160 can beat him with a good punch. miranda and taylor reckon hes a little better than good.........

A pretty damn big one, Pavlik is the next superstar, but the chances of it happening are slim to none.
