Ok so Hatton was hurt, his legs went, whatever.
Would Lazcano have ko'd ricky if his laces were done up, taking into consideration the fact that he hurt Lazcano straight after.

I think he had him hurt and could've scored a KD, maybe two, but I think Ricky would've gotten up and survived the round. It might've changed the course of the fight because Ricky might've been more tentative, but I don't think he was hurt ENOUGH to not stand up before the count of 10.
I think that if Lazcano had opened up more he'd have been stopped. Hatton was on rubbery legs but no way was Lazcano stopping him. hatton was merely, and I quote, "disorientateted".
Lazcano's stamina looked like shit from the opening bell, if this was any other fighter in that ring today and not even elite I could see ricky have been ko'd tonight.
I don't think so to be honest.
He was hurt because he jumped straight forward into a hook (again). He certainly wasn't going to be doing that while he was hurt, so that wasn't going to happen. At other times when Hatton was hurt, Lazcano teed off on him for 7 or 8 unanswered landed punches, and Hatton didn't go down.
I still think Hatton has a pretty good chin, but it is nullified because he throws the full weight of his body into his momentum when he runs into those check hooks. Not the smartest idea on Hatton's part IMO.
No, I dont think Hatton would have gotten knocked out. Maybe knocked down. He would have still won either way.
but its still disgraceful, what the ref did. Regardless of what would have happened in the fight, that kind of stuff should NOT happen.

its possible for either to have been knocked down or out...
we will never know now though...
tough break for both.
