Right because there was no difference between the Hops that fought Calzaghe and the Hops of a year earlier. Who cares what his body looks like? Mike Tyson was past his prime at 21. I judge it by how he FIGHTS and what I see in the ring. Age caught up to hops. Lacy and Kessler were good wins. Not great. Both were impressive performances. But for this guy to be calling Pavlik a pussy, when his boy has made a career out of duck and dodging people and now calling out their corpses, is a little bit silly. **Patiently awaits Ricky's bullshit about how everyone on the planet avoided Calzaghe not the other way around. Wanna know what I think? I think that it doesn't matter who Calzaghe defeats you just don't wanna acknowledge. Maybe you dislike his style? I agree with you that he should've stepped the level of opposition up a lot earlier and JoeC must take some of the blame for not getting the fights. But I feel some posters, you included, should give him some more credit.

Calzaghe says he wants some time off so yea. I guess they will continue to follow the plan that they have had all along. Which includes a fight agaisnt LOCKETT, then RUBIO in SEPT, then ABRAHAM in DEC/JAN, and then CALZAGHE probably for the summer

Well I doubt Pavlik will be Calzaghe's next fight anyway, if it happens, it will be after RJJ as Pavlik will need longer to prepare as he'd also need to move up in weight. Plus RJJ seems to have no intention of taking a tune-up fight and with time working against him, I think that fight would have to happen this year.

Hopefully Calzaghe doesn't retire after his next fight and the two meet sometime next year....
