Joe Calzaghe sucks

Real boxing fans appreciate Calzaghe

God theres some fucking inbreds who post shit in these forums. Pure haters, if Calzaghe was American it would be a different story. Stop with the jelaouy morons. The Ring Champ at Super Mid and Light Heavey, deal with it.

Both his and Hopkins' purses should have been upheld for their performances in their fight. A lot of Calzaghe fans want to say that they were only booing Hopkins, not true. While Hopkins spent a lot of time on his bicycle, Calzaghe was throwing a bunch of meaningless punches that hardly contributed to anything dramatic. It goes to show that the only highlight anyone has in their sigs is of Calzaghe simulating a gay act on B-Hop. If the fight was on PPV, that would've been a perfect metaphor for what the fans were going through. So Calzaghe should get his purse taken for being the agressor all fight, and the only guy willing to engage? Really?

I would love nothing more than to see Floyd beat Cotto and Margarito, Forrest and Spinks, and attempt to win a middleweight title, but you can't always get what you want. I think Max Kellerman said it best when he said a fighter should be judged by his prime years. Nobody judges Roy Jones by his losses to Johnson and Tarver because that was just extra at the twilight. But if you can be successful in those late years, that's something special. Calzaghe will be known for hiding most of his career and waiting til the twilight to claim he's great. He wouldn't have beat the guys he avoided in his prime and he knows it so he fights them now (when THEY are EVEN OLDER than he is), to claim he could have done so in his prime. The difference in Calzaghe and Mayweather is that Floyd didn't waste away his prime years hiding. Calzaghe PWNS Mayweather! Calzaghe PWNS Jones!

I don't like Joe because he could have done so much more. I don't like Floyd because he could have done so much more. I am an equal opportunity disliker . I prefer fighters who push their limits and who take risks. I find both of these guys consider an undefeated record some high benchmark of immortality. Sorry but it isn't. Real warriors get measured on who they fight, how they win, how they lose. Going after real challenges mean much more than a record. Both are fantastic fighters and both extremely disappointing at the same time. i do see alot of that shit here. that their over rated and all that.. i think the reason for that is that their fans make them out to something so special, when their not.. anyway, im sick of that shit too.. i mean, i even had ricky say where i live is a shithole.. i was wtf? i live in a middle class neighborhood.. not ghetto at all The same can be said about all fighters...but i get what you mean. sucks? no, not even close... hes had 21 title defenses... lacy and kessler are very good wins... and altho bernard was older... joe came over here to fight him, and joe did win on my scorecard... in my heart i wanted bernard to win for the USA... but on the other hand i wanted joe to win, so he could fight roy.. joe does not suck.. not at all... im not a fan of his tecnique but hes shown great adaptability, and he does come to fight, and i can respect that... looks like a roy fan needs to come to joes rescue up in here... but would you defend him if he wasn't fighting Roy next? I think not
