i did not read through all the pages but i do think he is great. nobody else can come back from a 4 year layoff and go right into a title bout and win as impressive as he did. hopefully he will continue to fight and change alot of peoples minds
I think wayno hunter and 15g are all the same 12 year old. and brizpac could be number 4
Vitali one of the greatest heavyweights of all time?? oh **** no.
Wow...I had no idea beating Corrie Sanders and Blubber Johnson is what made you great, let alone an ATG.
Geezus, I guess Nate Tubbs and Hasim Rahman are great too. And so is John Ruiz!! After all, they did it too!
He ain't even in my top 10,000 ATG Heavyweights.
This thread is a joke!
What was his best win? How dare you talk about Vitali " The Great" like that...Its takes a real man to quit against the likes of Chris Byrd...Its takes heart to lose to Lennox like he did...of course he is #1 of all time!:lol1::lol1:
Would he have beaten Marciano?....................... probably........ but when formulating a top ten, achievements not size and power need to be taken into account.
Lennox Lewis may have beaten Joe Louis and Ali but there is no way he should be ranked above either.
Klitschko has had 3 title fights against people that have done nothing before or since fighting him........
Well lets be real for a second, how the hell do we know he would have beaten Marciano? He did lose against Byrd, right? I would be willing to bet in order to beat Rocky he would have to deal with him for 15 rounds, something he doesnt seem to be very good at.
Lennox Lewis beating Louis and Ali is a bit of a stretch as well. Not saying either is impossible, but those guys are remembered that way for a reason.
He's in my top 10 all-time of fighters from the Ukraine.
Or top 10 HWs who lost to feather-fisted slappers who get yelled at in the corner by their wives, and to old, overweight, closet homosexuals who are lousy HBO commentators.
I think you need some sort of help mate. or you need to take your medication
Looks like Im not the only one being subjected to empty accusations but that retard bsrizpac
There are some things that give him claim to being among the top heavyweights of all time...Size, durability, iron chin, aggressivly pursuit of his opponents, his overall KO/Victory ratio, his exciting performances...
But it's difficult to rank him among history's greatest heavyweights before his career is even finished (though some would argue that it is), and with the lack of significant wins over highly regarded opponents.
Really, it's far too early to even consider it at this point.
ali at 5th? how anyone can have Ali anywhere but 1st is beyond me. ppl even say Louis or Johnson should be above him, thats just ridiculous. Ali accomplished more than any other hw ever.
I agree, I think Louis comes close but Ali was, is and will always be number 1 imo
