I understand now that HBO might be reconsidering its decision not to go with a 'Countdown' show for Margarito-Cotto

I didn't Know people got so technical over fluently enough and non fluent...
the fact that, it's a topic for the discussion shows you that it's a perceive
problem...
The Point is That Language should be a barrier for the Countdown show to happen like i believe to be the reason....because no other reason seems to be real legitimate..
im agreeing with you. the excuse from some people here that its because they cant speak English is pretty stupid looking back at some of the countdowns.
actually, they can but dont speak it fluently enough. they had a countdown for Pacquiao/Marquez II. Pac was speaking english the whole countdown and his english is about as good as Cotto's.

If Morales and Barrera can get a countdown So can Cotto - Margarito...
All four of them cant speak English...

See what I mean?? When the fans bitch.. the networks listen!
It's no coensidence we are getting all these great fights all of a sudden.. more air time, etc. We need to pat ourselves in the back because these people read the message boards and blogs and know it's important to please the fans.
Cotto/Margarito >>> De La Hoya/Forbes
Get a fucking clue HBO.
I was thinking the EXACT SAME THING when Lampley mentioned that there would be a countdown for Hoya/Forbes in the upcoming schedule...freaking lame!
De la Hoya/Forbes, but no Cotto/Margarito...? If HBO doesn't do a countdown show: "I'm gonna' be super-pissed!"
Cotto/Margarito >>> De La Hoya/Forbes
Get a fucking clue HBO.
Pretty much. It almost seems like they were saving the rest of their budget for the De La Hoya vs. Mayweather 24/7 series.
SAME GOES FOR TONY IF HE WINS WHICH HE WILL IM SO CONFIDENT IN HIM IVE NEVER BEEN SO SURE OF MYSELF IN A FIGHT!!!FLOYD WOULD NEVER FIIGHT HIM THOUGH.
:boxing:
mupppppppet! all your points against mine, sir?
Omg. It would only make sense jeez. How else can they build Cotto up should he win for a future Mayweather fight and attract more fans to the sport and to HBO by offering a terrific fight for free (not PPV). Hopefully they'll make one. This fight deserves it big time.SAME GOES FOR TONY IF HE WINS WHICH HE WILL IM SO CONFIDENT IN HIM IVE NEVER BEEN SO SURE OF MYSELF IN A FIGHT!!!FLOYD WOULD NEVER FIIGHT HIM THOUGH.
Good news.
But it also seems to me Steve Kim has his nose inside Bob Arums ass, I mean he's always praising him as the "Best Promoter" in boxing. Yet he hardly talks about all the shitty cards Arum has put on Versus and the Bullshit PPV's like Latin Fury with JC Jr or Arce.
I guess since Doug Fisher gets to do the commentary on some of those cards, Arum gets a free pass and gets praised every chance they get.
