cotto has had clear wins over judah, quintana and malignaggi (look at paulie face at the end of the fight for proof...he absolutely BATTERED him). mosley is the only arguable fight in my opinon but it wasnt so close that you could give it to shane... i think at best it could be ruled a draw...but i cant see it being ruled for mosley...and rounds cotto won; he CLEARLY won... everyone was on the cotto bandwagon after he beat shane (or majority at least) but now that he's made a clear spot for himself as top welterweight contender everyone is trashtalking him... margarito is a very good fighter...not the best technically but he has a iron chin and punches 1200+ times a fight (over 100 punches per round)...so he's obviously no cake walk but now many are treating cotto like he's garbage who is a mere tune-up for margarito and that isnt the case. its going to be a close fight that could very well end in a knockout...and dont be surprised to see each man knocked down once (margarito by cotto body shot and cotto from margarito head shot)... either fight can win honestly so i dont know why everyone is acting like either cotto is going to crush him and make him quit in the first round (or visca versa)...its a close fight between two of the best welterweight CONTENDERS right now... they are jockying for position to fight floyd. so everyone relax because neither is going to just blow through the other. was the cotto shane fight a split decision?

Even though I'm not a real fan of Cotto, I'm jumping on the train for this fight since Margarito is a more overrated fighter. Cotto deserves his hype, Margarito doesn't. Cotto earned his hype beating young prime unbeaten fighters and past their prime great fighters in Mosley. All Margarito has ever done is living off of the Bob Arum 8million dollar/Most feared man hype machine.

Cotto has flaws I've openly admitted that plenty of times. But the ONE time he was knocked down in his carrer - which was a push anyway - and all the other times he's been stunned hasn't amounted to shit for his opposition has it? So its a mute arguement for the doubters to make. Just about everyone he's fought has become a champion. According to you they're all pretend champions in one way or another so fuck it. cotto has been rocked by corley, torres, judah, mosley, n'dou and has a suspect chin. I can't speak on the other fights but as far as Cotto's fights with Judah and Mosely, I can remember Cotto getting hit by both and maybe stung by Mosely, but I wouldn't use the term "Rocked". Wanna know what getting "rocked" by Judah looks like? Look at Judah's fight with Floyd Mayweather. That's what getting "rocked" looks like. On the real.
