Cotto CLEARLY beat Sugar!!!

cottos testicles were covering your eyes unfortunately mosley won the fight, they gave it to the younger fighter. he won 7 rounds and he threw more punches and landed the same in the punch stats. you gotta understand though, "ALOT" of what Mosely was throwing...landed on Cotto's gloves. They didn't count. Everyone saw, what the judges saw...Cotto landing that Jab on Mosely's face all nite!

I'm not sure what was going on in that round, but Cotto landed all the clean punches and a lot more than Mosley too. anybody ever find out what happened in that round? was it round 11? Ok im gonn have a go at ur card but try not to get offended coz i respect u as a poster and normally agree with ur cards. 12th to Mosley, Agreed. 10th to Mosley Agreed. 7th to Mosley i cant agree with at all, Cotto landed the far Cleaner shots in this round for sure. 3rd round to Mosley Great round but Miguel again was landing the flusher harder shots for the most part. Jack Mosley even said in what i took as trying to encourage Shane after losing 1 and 2 "I would say that 1 was even!" 2nd round to Mosley, i thought this was one of the clearest rounds of the fight personally, Cotto dominated really Except for 1 Big right hand from Sugar but Miguel responded great.

I was drunk off my ass when I watched it live and didn't care who won, but I remember thinking Mosley needed a KO to win going into round 12. I had it closer on the rewatch, which means everybody should be sober when they score or at least get around to really scoring every fight eventually.

I agree, Cotto did clearly beat Shane. I rewatched this fight 2 days ago, and hadn't truely seen it fully since the actual PPV event. I guess with all the emotion of seeing it live you assume shit is going bad when the guy going forward all a sudden goes backwards and the commentators are giving out wrong information as usual. Well, yup, that's what happened. Upon rewatching it, I noticed Cotto was going backwards to change up his strategy and make Mosley fall into it. It worked. Mosley hunted Cotto down and Cotto constantly landed huge shots that snapped Mosley's head back while on the backfoot. Meanwhile Lampley and crew assumed Cotto had been hurt and was trying to recover, WRONG. Also, I hate when Lampley goes nuts over a big pretty looking right hand shot Shane would throw, yet Cotto blocks it and Lampley says it landed. Guy might need glasses soon. Overall, definitely Cotto won, first half, and I'd say 4 of remaining 6 rounds. Mosley was getting hammered on the backfoot. Great post sir! So u scored it 10 -2 Cotto ON REWATCHING the fight?

Right enough with all this Cotto BARELY got passed an Old Mosley shit, i just watched the fight yet AGAIN and it gets clearer every time! I Gave Shane only 2 rounds, rounds 10 and 12! And 10 was debatable, Manny Steward thought Cotto had won it or at least shared it and one of the judges gave him the round too! I gave it to Shane but apart from the last round when not much happened and Shane was pressuring im struggling to give Mosley anything else! Sure alot of the rounds were competitive and close but to me its clear they were won by Cotto. U could say it was a a onesided close fight if u get me! Where was the power?? Where was that vaunted body attack?? He hit Shane CLEAN and never once hurt him.. Vernon floored and hurt a PRIME Mosley..his bodyshots had him screaming.. Cotto couldn't phase an old beat-down version.. So u have to hav a fighter Hurt to win a decision now? The power was there anyway u could see it by the way Mosleys head snapped back and u could fuckin hear it too! The time Forrest floored Mosley was after a head clash which Shane says he never recovered from. Fair play on that body shot tho (u know the one) Shane yelped like a bitch! Cotto's body attack was some what neautralized by Shane cleverly but not completly he got in some good 1's SM just took em thats all
