Hey Cotto fans...

I'm a Cotto fan, and I've never said anything about Magarito's losses nor have I talked shit on him. I've always said that he is a tough fight for anyone, but I just think that Cotto is too good. With that said, I know what you mean. It sounds stupid sometimes when people wanna discredit a fighter so much before their favorite fighter fights them. It's fine to state your case on why you think he will win, but you should always show respect and not down talk the opponent, especially at this level.

I'm a Cotto fan and I recognise the threat in Margarito.. he is anything but average. He is a wild card and this is what makes him so dangerous in the division. He throws so much that he has a punchers chance against ANYBODY.. and besides Cotto he is the most dangerous dude to face at welterweight right now.

The fact that Cotto himself has said this is the toughest fight and fighter he's faced in his career and has made public the fact that this will be his longest, toughest training camp pretty much discredits any Cottosexuals claiming that Marg is just a bum with 5 losses.

Because he chose another C-Class fighter who was the Real Champion of that division for about the same amount of money. A fighter who got Showtime exposure beating Judah and HBO exposure knocking out Arturo Gatti. and now you're thinkin like 2501 :)

This might be true for diehard Cotto fans. I however am a semi-Cotto fan and I'm totally dissing the shit out of Margarito. I've already pointed out that he is not unknockoutable as he has been hurt three times against lesser fighters in his career. I think he is a real sloooow fighter. Any A class fighter should deal with this guy.

I haven't tried to discredit Margarito because I feel even though he loss to Williams that he and Cotto are the 2 best fighters in the WW division. Now that they are going at it, it can only mean good things for boxing. Though I've stated how I feel this fight will go down, I won't really feel that bad if Cotto loses because I do believe Margarito is one tough SOB and I know he'll have to put Cotto through some serious shit to beat him, which then he'll have deserved the W. Otherwise, if Cotto beats him with a smart gameplan, I see Cotto being the top WW champ, with Floyd just clinging to a dilussional I'm the best based on theories and not proving himself.

People weren't focused on the head, more so the body. "Hatton will jump all over him and then with his countless body attack, he'll stop Mayweather!!" It's true a lot of people picked Mayweather, but Hatton was still supposed to give him hell because of a countless body attack.

To be honest there was really no "he's too small" just "really overrated" I, myself that thought he was too small. I didn't think he was going to be able to hit Mayweather enough to get the decision, and I think that taking a flush left hook from Oscar in the closing seconds of the fight was going to be more than enough to tell me that Hatton wasn't knocking Mayweather out.

Post-Fight Mayweather fans: Hatton was a very credible opponent, and the size issue doesn't matter. Hatton fans: He was too small to be fighting at WW anyway, not a good win for Floyd. You all should really shut the fuck up about Margarito's 5 losses. If Cotto ends up beating Margarito, there is going to be a lot of posts that are easily bumpable to say... "Cotto fans, what the fuck are you celebrating? You gave an average fighter his 6th loss!" Because it is the Cotto fans who are calling him the average fighter with 5 losses. And if Cotto loses... he will have lost to an average fighter with 5 losses, which pretty much means his career is over.
