Hatton above him is fucking disgusting......hell, hatton in a top 10 p4p is a fucking insult...
thank you my exact thoughts! Shit margarito deserves it more than hatton.
I Dont think Hatton deserves a top 10 spot and Vazquez at 6 but no R Marquez? I Personally thought Marquez won the rubber match even if u dont u gotta admit it was Too tight to justify that gap in ratings plus throw in that Marquez had moved up after reigning supreme a weight down

at this point, with all the great young champs there are in the game today, it would be rediuclous to have Hatton in the top 10 or even 15 IMO
Mijares is contrastingly better than "hook and hold" Hopkins! Two extremes of boxing ability.
Neither Hopkins nor Hatton belong in the top ten p4p. Hatton should be about #12.
He needs to fix that hair cut in your avy though!! ...cus ughh uuhhh :ugh:
Linares would have to KO Chris John because you can't win a decision against him in Indonesia. If they fight, trust it would have to be in Indonesia.
Steve Luevano is a very questionable fighter. He's fast and uses his jab well, but when it gets rough he falls to pieces.
Edwin Valero.... HA!!!
Robert Guerrero is one tough son of a bitch. This would test Linares' mental faculties and ability to remain composed during a fight when he'd clearly have to make adjustments.
Luevano has all the right tools to give Linares a tough fight. He boxing ability is incredible and is very ring smart. He got rocked pretty hard against Terdzak, but was able to stay focused and not stray away from what worked for him.
Linares of course, is no Terdzak and knows how to manifest his power through combinations. He has that definite killer instinct, the need to inflict pain and like you said, Luevano may not be able to handle that. He is a favorite of mine to watch though.
his campaign can go like this.
Valero (PR fight)
Luevano
John
Guerrero
he should just take all the top dudes out. i have full confidence in his ability to beat all of them.

As for Linares, he still needs a coming out fight, perhaps against Valero or Robert Guerrero to reach that next level. He has all of the tools to get there, just none of the credentials to date.

i rememebered the arce fight and was impressed with mijares, but i didnt realized at the moment he was that good.
yeah, hahah...the fight against navarro was WTF....120-108 against mijares was just so wrong. i thought at first they were wrong saying it was 120-108 for navarro. i want to see the fight against munoz..... couldnt watch it :(....
and yeah...Linares is just awesome and he will get there. he is just amazing, im impressed more than his skills, that are great btw, is how he develops in the ring. always calm, patient, always looks in control....its amazing he is just 22, cos he fights like a veteran. thats imo what gamboa needs...cos gamboa is more skillfull than linares, but lacks the other part. but both of them will reach the top ten p4p sooner or later, im sure :boxing:
I think Linares is possibly the best all-round boxer at the moment. I've never really seen him troubled. Mijares and Linares are 2 fighters i have been following for the past year and it's great they are getting the recognition now.
Linares has the potential to become a future P4P #1.
I'm no bandwagon jumper so i'm not going to judge Gamboa yet, as i've only seen 3 of his fights. He has immense speed, great combo's but lack of defense might cost him soon. I think we'll know by the end of the year what Gamboa is all about, but i can see why he is highly rated.
I agree, Mijares at 10 is very deserving. Not only has he been one of the more active champions, he's also one of the few lighter weight guys who are in favor of fighting the other champions.
the fight was terrific and it was a near perfect performance.
Its absolutely okay for him to take that 10 spot. i dont think he should be quite there yet, but its definetly arguable.
download the fight if u can. great fight
He should have been in the top 10 long ago. I've been a fan since the Arce fight and believed he was one of the greatest active fighters at the time. That was about 4/5 fights ago. He has been consistent ever since....the Navarro/Munoz fights were clear Wins as far as i am concerned (not the SD's they wrongfully gave)....especially the judge that scored the Navarro fight 120-108 in favour of Jose!
At least he is finally getting the recognition now, as will others i am sure.
Linares is one........before the year is over.....just watch.
