I felt embarassed reading his post mate. Don't listen to him, we aren't all fucking morons.
Dont feel embarassed thats the whole true. The truth hurts right? Its just that i am really pissed for the comments of some people that doesnt know shit about PR and rapidly say that is a third world country. Thay think that everybody that doesnt live in europe and in the US is a poor person. And are the same people that doesnt know who the fuck is england ( americans) and i ask a British wehere else is PR and doesnt know shit also. PR is part of the US, its population are american citizens. And all the benefits that apply in the US apply to PR.
Puerto Rico is a third world country, you know it, I know it, the yanks know it.
Puerto Ricans have fuckall to do during the day as they have no jobs, education....either become a boxer or live the rest of your life in poverty.
jajjaja that a response of a typicall caucatian that doesnt know shit about the rest of the world. PR has the most high income per capita in latin america 23,000 dollars dumb ass its even more than missisipi dickhead. We produce 13 of the 20 most sale pharmaceutical product in the world. The PR coliseum is more big than the MSG. The PR convention center is one of the best in the world and for your information barack obama would be here in two weeks along hillary clinton for the PR primary you should pay attention to the coverage and see what really PR is. Me, myself i drive a brand BMW X6 of 85,000 dollars and i am only a student dickhead. You should take a trip to PR and see for yourself.
You clearly know fuck all. Britain has recently invested in several new state of the art facilities for amateurs hence the success so far of the British olympic team. We have 8 boxers going to Beijing how many does Puerto Rico have. Also in the south of England boxing is being introduced into schools so don't give me that bullshit.
PR is going to send 6 boxers to the olimpics. And pay attention PR has the oportunity this summer to have 7 worlds champs at the same time if the champs retained their belts and the contenders won. And that would be the second time PR has done that the last time was in the 90s. We have had 58 worlds champs in history. And that number is only behind USA and Mexico in the total number in history no matter size of the country and all that crap. And also we are the only country that has had a world champin every divition in boxing through 105 all the way up to heavyweight. In PR everyweak is a boxing event and their are totally sold out. Even non Puertoricans have put their camps to prepare to a fight in PR. Oscar dela Hoya, Paul Williams, Acelino Freitas, Casamayor, Wladimir Klitschko visit DLH in the gym in Caimito, PR and said that he want to trained there in some point. DLH has said that his main place for prospects in PR and he is investing a lot of money in the process. Larry Merchant has called PR the boxing capital of the world. Boxing here take front pages in the newspapers more than politics, other sports and anything. Even you can talk in PR with womans and know about boxing.

We could do a whole 'which food matches which crime' e.g. Turkish Kebab (eat in ) accompanied by AK47 drive by hit due to row over heroin distribution around Green Lanes N London!!
Plenty of people on here have boxed to some sort of level, mostly AMs, but your ability as a boxer is not on a direct scale to your understanding of the sport. Jim Watt was a world champion, but I've never heard anyone of his level spout so much shit when it comes to commentating.
There would have been a huge percentage of soldiers in Napoleon's army that could have taken him in a hand to hand situation, his fighting ability in the front line was irrelevant to his strategic and tactical genius; Alexader the Great and Leonidas of Sparta fought in the front line, but the majority of great generals did not.In the same context, being taught boxing from the age of six will give you a great grounding in the sport, but someone with far less natural ability in the ring may still have a gift for spotting the best in other fighters and even in bringing it out of them in a way the more gifted fighter may not be able to.
If you take the 'logic' of your ill-defined argument to its zenith, Mike Tyson would be a better boxing writer than Norman Mailer and Wilfred Beneitez would be a better trainer than D'Amato. Or look at it another way, my father follows greyhound racing, there is very little he does not know about the sport, but by your argument, the dogs in the traps know more about the odds than he does.
The English developed a similar arrogance to yours with football (soccer) in the 1950's, using similar 'in our blood' arguments and got taken to school by a fabulous Hungarian team.
Literally the best post I have ever read on boxingscene, and in one of its worst threads too.
Oh well, no muck, no magic.
Terrible, I sincerely mean this, I have no problems with peoples opinions...
I have problems, with guys who think they eat, breath and shit boxing coming on here spewing bullshit about the game that they have no Idea about. It's a sport that all my Puerto Ricans keep dear to there hearts. It's like me making comments about a soccer player that I have no idea about, can you understand that? Can you also understand boxing is something you can't learn late in life, you can't pick up a book and read it and then Kaboom your a boxer, no it's more than that.. You can't start late in life and you can't pick up a book and become one, it has to be imbedded in your blood. It starts from the tender age of 5 or 6 yrs old. I have nothing against the Englishman, actullay it's good to hear that the UK will NOW invest in bringing up young and up coming fighters.. Great news and Congrats..
PRPP
your opinion is no more valid than anyones elses thats does'nt seem to get through to u ,wether it is a main stream sport in your country or not does not make u an expert either way
nobody thought Vernon Forrest was gonna put a whooping on Shane Mosley nobody new Douglas would do the same to Tyson nobody Calzaghe would do the same to Lacy & most pundits British & American had Naseem Hamed beating Marco Barrera pre fight
it dont matter if u have grown up around Boxing or not your opinion is what it is opinion not fact i dare say that there are British fight fans that know more about European fight circuit than u do it dont mean there opinion is gospel & your opinion is trash
The poster (threadstarter) is blatantly from the UK.
It was the suck my puerto rican dick that done it.
He's a shop assistant from Hackney.
