Roy Jones pissed me off..

..in the Trinidad fight, when, fighting a guy 2 and a half years out of the ring and twenty-odd pounds north of where he campaigned most of his career, Roy shook his head constantly, showboated, played to the crowd and laughed at Trinidad. I mean, what the hell was he trying to prove doing that? It wasn't amusing, he was doing it when Trinidad was winning the damn fight through the first five or six rounds, I just think its completely ludicrous for him to think that gets him any credit. Roll Tarver out to lay his arrogant ass out another time, I say prime RJJ brutalizes Tito. The RJJ that beat Trinidad was a shell.

I had Jones winning no less than say 8 rounds.

I was appalled that the fight was made in the first place.

i saw that in a picture, that was nasty how his muscle was ripped. I dont understand how you can dislike roy. if you dont like how roy acts then to bad, if they cant stop him he can do what he wants. He also didnt illegally tape his left hand unlike tito throughout his career

Yes, and the first thing that springs to my mind is when he was fighting someone (can't remember the guy's name) and he hit him hard with a combo and the opponent was obviously hurt and Roy knew it. He looked at the ref and motioned for him to stop the fight and the ref didn't do anything so Roy unloaded another combo and knocked him down and the ref finally called it. He was kind of like a Cat toying with a mouse and not just killing it. Although in the rematch with Griffen, Roy came out with bad intentions and Knocked him the fuck out! After the fight he said "I didn't want to hurt the kid but you take my belt, and I'm coming to get it." something along those lines. Bryant Brannon

Its not clever to showboat against some past-his-prime, inactive and incredibly blown-up welter/middleweight. Jones even hollered "Oh!" with a grin on his face when he knocked Tito down. well, i was there... and it amused the entire madison square garden for one... for two hes 39 years old... for three he had a torn left bicep.. which you can ACTUALLY see... and for FOUR... roy has carried fighters since he was 25 years old... if u dont like it.. watch someone else. and tito won the first 2 MAYBE 3 rounds... end of. Yh Tito won 2 rounds an thats it imo. I loved it! Me and my friend found it great the way he was winding Tito up
