The US is made up virtually entirely from immigration. I`m not aware of any ranked american indian boxers.
The point is that you have no boxers at all. Even boxers that weren`t even born in the US you try and claim in the sad attempt to prove you are number 1. Like Oscar.
So lets be honest here, stop waving your flag, because everyone in the rest of the world knows it doesn`t mean a damn thing. Even Ali wouldn`t fight for the US because he knew what a load of BS it is.

Tye Fields should start his own sanctioning body, at least then we'd have a belt that means something.
Wlad could fight Sam Peter for the right to be mandatory challenger, although neither of them deserve a shot really, and it'll be better for their health if they don't get one.
The first meaningful post in the thread.
lol@ the peaople saying oscar, mayweather ect you didnt get it at all, really he is right there are no native american boxers just american born boxers! kind of pointless sayin it tho

Ali fought on the us op team when he won the gold
Oscar is form the usa
Four staff members of the Ring were executed for this unforgivable blunder. Next time it happens though, they wont be so lucky.
LMAO.
Justice was served.
It was a typo. I spoke to them on the phone all categories were supposed to be for Tye Fields, except most protected, which goes to Klitschko.
Yeah, but having Ring Magazine have such an blatant error fires me up. That is inexcusable and should've never made it to print.
Co-sign. The Ring Belts are the most respected. You can't win a "vacant" Ring Belt - you must beat the man that has it, or if the owner retires or is stripped the #1 ranked must beat the #2 ranked. Which is why no heavyweight fighter has the ring belt. Fuck the other belts.
I have no respect for the ring after what they said about Tye Fields:

Calzaghe didn't win a title at light heavyweight. The RING belt isn't a world title, it's a magazine trinket.
THANK YOU! i appreciate what the ring has attempted to do with their champions/ranking system, but the ring belt is not a world title.

USA USA... wait. no. yer dumb.
Yes 4. Calzaghe owns 168 and 175. For now anyway. :)
eh, I dont know if thats fair. you can only be in 1 weight class at a time, otherwise you could technically consider Mayweather the king at 140 and 147, which wouldnt be fair at all, although the circumstances are a little different.
I dunno, I always thought that when you changed weight classes you should automatically relinquish your champion status at the previous weight.
Exactly so its BS.
In reality the UK owns 4 divisions with America owning two. The rest are all soup champions.
4? Haye Calzaghe Hatton and then who???
and Haye is going to Heavy so technically that Cruiserweight spot is vacant again, so it would be open for Cunningham, Enzo, Adamek or Mormeck.
but I was always impressed with how well Britain did for themselves in boxing, cause theyre not that huge of a country. keep up the good work yall.

We have the flat out Best boxer in the World.
And he's greater than maybe twenty times all of Europe's greatest fighters who still breathe oxygen.
