Félix 'Tito' Trinidad Vs Miguel Cotto

lol at the people who voted cotto by ko.... i like both....i guess i would pick trinidad by ko....but i really dont know how good he was at welter....imo he's overrated at welter...cus the only guy who could tests him(oscar), outclassed him....still the 154 trinidad was a beast(he was tested by good fighters and came through)..so ill assume he could fight just as well at 147...

Trinidad and Cotto are one of the most overrated fighters ever, both are ridiculously one-dimensional. I'd say Trinidad would win most likely by KO because not only does he have a huge height and reach advantage, his style was punching from the outside, whereas Cotto's short height and short arms forces him to go to the inside. Trinidad was also much faster than Cotto. I don't see how Cotto would have survived 12 rounds. so sad man:nonono:

Thanks for that clip, it's exactly what I was talking about. When Mosley was making Cotto go backwards, Cotto looked horrible and got hit with big hooks and uppercuts. Keep in mind this was a tired and weak Mosley who was hyperventilating in these rounds and could barely stand up straight. No doubt in my mind Cotto wouldn't even reach past the 6th round against a prime Trinidad. Cotto took some shots (like he always does, even more when he came forward) but he landed well with his jab, countered, landed combinations and coasted his way to a decision going backwards. I doubt you'd ever see Trinidad do that. I don't see Cotto having much success going backwards against Trinidad but he is not one-dimensional.

Because Tito has never beaten a fighter with a jab.. Come on people. I think yall are overating his jab a bit. Sure its pretty good but its not on the level of Winky. That and Cotto being physically smaller... He would get KOed.

cotto by KO...that's if tito doesn't illegally wrap his hands... that tactic hopkins used to get into tito's head was the same that costello used against arguello.only it didn't work for costello.

I've seen most of both of their fights, and I agree. Cotto is a more complete fighter than Tito. I'm not dismissing that Trinidad would be dangerous every minute of the fight though. yeah i agree but i think he gets to him late in the fight

OK, i know im going to get shitted on for this but.. cotto is a better fighter than tito.. titos power bailed him out of a shitload of his fights.. cotto by ud.. a wide ud.. as long has he keeps his gloves up so tito cant land the hook, its a wrap.. i always thought tito was over rated, despite his accomplishments.. he was a good fighter, but not as good as every1 thought him to be.. didnt fight mosley, or quartey I've seen most of both of their fights, and I agree.
