Couldn't agree more, this would be boxing fans wet dream. All this incredible skill in the same ring would make for a truly epic and historic fight. It's good to see the incredible talent pool in boxing right now, we are guaranteed great boxing for years.
Word,
it's really good to see that, after the generation that gave us Hopkins, Toney, Jones, I had not been very satisfied with the crop of fighters that are currently in their primes. It's good to see a lot of potential among the up and coming, especially in the form of skills, which are now hard to see.
Gamboa would be my natural answer, but it is unfair towards Linares... Gamboa is OLD compared to Linares, he has not been a pro for long, because he was in Cuba, but he boxed FOREVER.
Man, this board sure does hate British fighters. Though, the average user is non British so I can understand where the uneducated bias comes from.
Well let's see Gamboa is cuban and Linares is venezuelan. Not exactly the predominant nationalities on this board. So maybe just maybe people here are objective boxing fans that actually voted for the fighter with the most skill and talent, rahter than voting for their nationality.

Indeed, well said.
It's already possible to see how they might neutralize each other's strengths and give as one of the truly epic battles. Boxing history on the horizon.

Linares and Gamboa might end up fighting each other one day. I seriously think that will be too much skill in one ring at once.

I agree with you Addison. When I first saw Kahn, I was like... You are fucking joking me right? I don't know if he is an inside joke for the brits or what, but the kid is not good.
Can't blame ya, Shawn.
i think i know but not sure if i no what you mean"gamboa was fckg arnd to the point it becameslightly offensive".
thanks
He's just a real hot dog, a show off, a human circus. But he's got the goods.

chances are lackito khan wouldnt get by smaller opponents of gam!
I have to acknowledge I was extremely disappointed when I got my first look at Khan, Steel. The hype hurt. Linares wowed me, and Gamboa was fucking around to the point it became slightly offensive.
I like Mike Alvarado and Victor Ortiz though, as my favorite up&coming fighters. Them and Linares are Mech.'s holy trinity of boxing :crucified
:hail:
Nice I like that Mike Alvarado pick. Being from Colorado I root for the guy and hope he does good.
Out of the three on the list my favorite is Linares. Even though Gamboa is a close second.
