SO YOU SEE WHY I CALLED TONY PRYOR There is a much more realistic comparison there than to Hagler. Aaron Pryor was also about swarming, wanton aggression and throwing punches from bell to bell. Both had very good chins as well.

I see the point that you are trying to make, but I don't think you can compare that era and this one. First off, who knows if Paul Williams will even recover from his loss to Quintana and be able to rebound. Marvin Hagler ruled the middleweight division for about 7-8 years or so. I don't have to explain why I think that isn't how I'd classify Margarito. Though one similarity can be seen in toughness and aggression. I wouldn't compare Williams to Hearns... Besides height. Exactly, Williams can land his Sunday punch and not even move a guy. Hearns, you don't let him hit you with his Sunday punch.

That was the first time I saw Margarito and instead of seeing the Margarito hyped by my family I saw Margarita, some bitch who doesn't throw punches :kiss: . I think Margarito is sincere in saying he's back to his old self (what that looks like I have no idea), after all he did knockout some lamb after the Williams fight and Cintron after that (but i haven't seen either of these fights on the tube or anything). I don't like Cotto, I'm not saying he's not a fighter, but I'm pulling for Margarito. Either way it will be a great fight!
