Allan green vs jermain taylor....WHY HASNT IT HAPPEND?

Pavlik and his trainer are a couple of the smartest guys in the game right now. Just the way they approached the Miranda fight, they were right on, when almost anyone would have thought that strategy as suicidal. Am I sold on Pavlik? Not totally yet, but I do know that he keeps proving the doubters wrong. I also know that nomatter who he fights, they will be in the fight of their life. There is a lot of skill and determination there people. It might be packaged a little sloppy, but it is there waiting. On a side note, I believe Pavlik has to make his move now while he is still fresh. He has all the makings of a short career with his give and take style.

At this time? LOL.. if not now, then never. Calzaghe is past his best, and Pavlik has fought very good competition and beat them all. He's the Middleweight champion of the world, in a division that was teeming with talent just a few years back. Unfortunately, it is not often that the middleweight champion beats the light heavyweight champion. Especially when the LHW champ already solved the puzzle that the middelweight champion will bring (Mikkel Kessler anyone?).

But this is Kball saying it, the same guy who thinks that Pavlik can beat Calzaghe at this time of Pavliks career. At this time? LOL.. if not now, then never. Calzaghe is past his best, and Pavlik has fought very good competition and beat them all. they should both keep winning and let the fight build, its good to have the best fight the best but how about them proving themselfs a little bit more and mean while the buid up to that fight will be big by the time they fight I agree here. The match-up would be something amazing, imo. But it would be even better if built up. Maybe if a title was on the line.

I thought he was at the best id ever seen him in the first and he still got beaten, In the second i can agree, i dont think he looked his best It's pretty much generally agreed that he looked his best in the second fight, because he boxed extremely intelligently, and didn't lay on the ropes almost at all. Taylor still showed all of his usual flaws in the first fight, but the fact that Pavlik was easier to hit than his last four opponents made it seem like he was doing a lot better than he had in his last few.

Im glad it has come out a few times in this thread... Taylor would kill Green...Im pretty confident of a KO or a serious beating. Allan Green...Im sorry but the guy just looks like a B fighter too me...shit he Iced a young gun in Jadon who didnt even have 10 pro fights...he has lived long enough off of that awesome KO but since then he has become or I should say shown who he is which is a B level fighter.
