i gotta say, when i first came here i was a fan of both floyd and miguel, probably more so floyd, cause he got me watching boxing again with his disintegration of gatti.but as i spent weeks and months here i grew tired of all the unwarranted hate for miguel, and still none of them have a legitimate argument as to why.joe louis and and lennox lewis had far from the best chins in boxing history and are 2 of the top 3 heavyweights of all time, yet no one gives them any grief for it.maybe it's cause miguel hasn't earned that respect you do threw time with consistency as a champion.the disrespect for miguel is probably the reason for me not rooting for floyd in these forums, when in reality i do.no one can deny he's the best in the game, but being the best in the game shouldn't be the reason for rooting for a guy,in reality I'm a floyd fan as much as I'm a miguel fan.most my post have to do with me defending miguel against unwarranted detractors who hate him for no reason.i don't need to defend floyd, everybody knows he the best.as I've stated before i understand what he's doing in not fighting miguel at the moment he's waiting for it to simmer,so they can both cash the fuck out.
:beerchug: heres to floyd.
the fight of are dreams isn't to far away just hold your gaaddam horses.
ps.i saw mayweather vs goyo vargas yesterday.
:nonono: the man is a bad dude.

Is that the fight Floyd broke his hand? Pass that over I want to see that one. You are a credit to Cotto fans. You will NEVER see me bash Cotto as he is one of the best in the game and the fight with Floyd WILL be a great one in which they both get paid.
sorry have I missed something? has this fight been announced?
skillzpaydabillz u do bash cotto but not like the other stans ur objective SOMETIMES.
Me saying Floyd would beat Cotto is not bashing Cotto. Find ONE post where I bashed Cotto. Why do you keep calling me that?
ohh no doubt pauly tried to come back but he was already fucked up and cotto was just pressuring the shit out of malignaggi.
No doubr son, Paulie showed sicilian balls in that fight. Cotto pretty much dominated, but paulie was successful in the fight also in boxing Cotto. Paulie don't hit hard, maybe if he did, possible closer fight.
I had it 7-5 plus the kds, an easy Cotto victory.

don't get me wrong but ur better than that at observating fights..u have made some great thread about past fights but to say the fight was a draw is ridiculous if u are appreciating pauly's heart then good but cotto won that fight 8-4 at minimum.

muffuckas im allowed an outlandish view from time to time cabrones.

i don't like oscar.but had he stayed a little more busy vs tito at the end of that fight, and gotten the decision vs mosely the second time and beaten hopkins who he was competitive till the body shot you could make that argument.he was this close of possibly being top 5 with out a doubt in my mind.
Im not claiming that Oscar is all time top 10 or anything. That was the point of my statement. I follow Osacr and will support him, but I realize his shortcomings and failures. Im objective about the guy that i support, I don't seem to get the same feeling with SOME FLoyd fans.
It is hard for even the most ardent detractor of Floyd, to say his work at 130 was nothing short of brilliant. It was really amazing, he beat and destroyed fighters witha a combination of speed, power and defensive genius.
His fights with castillo , in my opinion, changed his approach. He was more cautious and less eager to exchange with guys in the ways he did in 130. Of course, when matched with a way lesser opponnent, the Floyd of old reappears.
What I don't care for , is the Greatest of all time talk. No boxing fan , that has followed the sport can take that seriously. Floyd resume post 135 is not warranted of mention of Greatest of all time.
We all have favorites and sometimes it is hard to hear negativity thrown at your fighter. I aways roll wit Oscar, but i know his limitations and am not a defender of his to the grave. I could make the claim that Oscar is the greatest of all time cause he has won belts in 6 divisons and beat better opponents than Floyd, but that would be foolish and disrespectful to all those who are indeed worthy of being called the greatest of all time.

he as joking.paulie's face looked like a bomb went off in that shit.no where near a draw.you forget paulie was the home town boy, don't let the scorecards fool you.
haha naw man, i wasnt. i know ima get shit for it. ive seen the fight 2 times. first time i had cotto up by a point without the KD. second time i had a draw without. its no doubt that cotto was doing the damage, but Paulie was able to land his shots and use the ring alot. he was hurting cotto most of the time, but was landing enough to score in my opinion.
No way..thats what I said!!!!!
