I can't believe Khan has hired Powell instead of one of the top Yanks! How is Powell going to take Khan onto the next level?! Magirt or Mayweather were the logical choices.

yeah its the bald fella who seems to be in one corner or another of every fight in the UK. i dont think i have actually see him ever be the main trainer tho. but suppose no big deal if its just for the one fight.

It is more important to have a trainer that understands your style and limitations rather than just a NAME in boxing.

Powell been around the game along time! but i thought he was more of a cornerman than a trainer! He is the one who always works the corner of these random "mexican roadsweepers" that always fight the up and coming UK talent. and the nobodies that always fight for the comonwealth belts. Khan needs mayweather..
