I was using Valuev as an extreme example. True that "speed" + "mass" = Power; but there's also punching technique....of which both were very good; and the unknown factor. Some guys are just heavy handed naturally. My opionion is just based on what I've seen of both......and Mike's tomato cans didn't have the chins of some of Joe's opponents. So, there is some debate....for me, at least....as to who hit harder. ..................

Hey morons: Force = Mass x Acceleration. It had more to do w/ the types of punches thrown though, not physics equations. Tyson had faster hands, but he through flurries and hard, crisp shots... Not coma inducing heavy bombs like Shavers. Tyson might be in the top 10 heaviest hitters... might be. The size of the man does not always equate with the power of the punch. If that were the case, no one would have ever beaten Valuev....much less gone the distance with him.
