I'm positive there must have been a thread like this, but whatever, enough people repeat themselves in arguments about whether Calzaghe is the best British fighter ever or not, why Cal beat Hop, why Floyd would beat Cotto, why Haye has no right to challenge Wlad etc., repeating yourself is a common thing here so this should cause no difficulty!
Of all the Heavyweights I've seen I've never seen anyone hit like prime Mike Tyson, I gotta say. Shavers is not far behind, Foreman, Razor Ruddock (yeah, for raw power, absolutely up there in the mix), Tua (fat piece of crap now, but man he had one heck of a left hook). I'm sure I'm forgetting someone really key here too
ur saying basically the same thing im saying
acceleration x mass = force
speed + mass = power
how close are those? you dont get what im saying without being scientifically to the tee? and your going to give me red k and call me a moron? what a serious prick...
maybe if i said
chin + stamina = power
I was using Valuev as an extreme example.
True that "speed" + "mass" = Power; but there's also punching technique....of which both were very good; and the unknown factor. Some guys are just heavy handed naturally.
My opionion is just based on what I've seen of both......and Mike's tomato cans didn't have the chins of some of Joe's opponents. So, there is some debate....for me, at least....as to who hit harder.
..................
Why did you only look at one part of my post?
speed + mass = power ... mike had both over joe
Valuevs lack of speed is the reason he is very beatable.
OBVIOUSLY.. i already said this... dont red k me for that.. wtf is wrong with you
thats fine and your opinion is welcomed... but drop the name calling... morons?
as this isnt a FACTUALLY based argument.
I called you a moron for repeatedly typing a fact incorrectly.
Hey morons:
Force = Mass x Acceleration.
It had more to do w/ the types of punches thrown though, not physics equations.
Tyson had faster hands, but he through flurries and hard, crisp shots... Not coma inducing heavy bombs like Shavers. Tyson might be in the top 10 heaviest hitters... might be. But he's definitely not near the top.

well its obviously a hypothetical situation...
im just going to stick with, i know mike had faster hand speed, and was a naturally bigger guy... his punching tecnique was perfect...
based on speed + mass = power, i have to take mike... but anyone taking joe has an argument being it is, a hypothetical debate.
:fing02:
Cool with me.
Well, that's it for me gents. :puppy_dog
PEACE!!!
I'm out. :firedevil

i never said joe was slow... just not as fast as mike.
Okay, I gotcha.
Well, to me....it's close. Mike might have been a little faster; but it's a toss-up to me as to who had more "pop".
The size of the man does not always equate with the power of the punch.
If that were the case, no one would have ever beaten Valuev....much less gone the distance with him.
