Duran would be tough for him.
A WW Hearns could outbox him from the outside. Leonard cracked TH but in a 15 rd fight, and Leonard hit harder than Floyd.
Aaron Pryor. Incredible chin, incredible stamina. Comes forward with volumes of punches. That would be a great fight.
Tommy Hearns doesn't have the chin or stamina to deal with Floyd.
Roberto Duran can be outboxed/outsped...as SRL showed.
Ray Leonard has bad defense, and is prone to being outboxed at times. See Duran 1, and Hearns 1. But his speed/power would give Floyd problems... just as Zab was able to do early.
I have never picked against Pernell, and won't do so now. He may be the best boxer of all time (translation: my lifetime).
Explain...
If u could pick a fighter past or present to deal with Floyd who would it be ?roberto the fucken beast duran at any weight!!!floyd would get his ass whooped!!!!

hearns will give floyd the most problems. the height, reach and power and boxing skills of hearns may be too much for floyd. floyd doesn't hit hard enough to KO hearns either.
people act like Floyd Mayweather is god like he is the best fighter ever ,the guy is overated he should of lost to J L Castillo FFS and J L Castillo is not a great fighter IMO good but not great ,also Oscar was owning the fuck out of Floyd before he got gassed like he has done throughout his career
Floyd might have run from Castillo in the rematch & won a clear decision but that dont erase the fact he lost to Castillo in nearly everybodys eyes
Ha Ha Castillo was J C Chavez saprring partner for ffs he was'nt fit to carry the spit bucket for people like Leonard ,Duran ,Pryor ,Hearns & he still beat Floyd
Floyd Mayweather is vastly overated
good point.
I think a peak Mosley at welter would beat Floyd, also the Duran that turned up for Leonard 1. Possibly also Tommy Hearns, its true his chin was not great but it took Leonard till the forteenth to find it with consistency, over a twelve round distance Floyd may well struggle.
and the only times ive seen Floyd walk anybody down in recent years was Sharmba Mitchell & Mitchell was shot & chinny anyway

wow A whole bunch of fighters come to mind, DLH back when 1999, Trinidad at 147, Wilfredo Benitez, SRL, Duran, Whitacker..It would of been nice to see what he would do againts those guys in there prime, and presend Cotto and Margartio..the fans deserve to see at least one of these guys fight Floyd.
duran?
Modern fighters are better than old past fighters ..period..
BUT MAYBE a duran type fighter....top rank counter puncher who wouldn't come at PBF make PBF fight as the agressor. MAYBE he could do it.
ANY past fighter matching speed for speed etc would lose. Pryor,SRL etc.
Id pick a top James Toney MAYBE at a catch weight thats the ONLY type of guy who would have a chance and only if he could make PBF fight out of his style... BUT probably......my opinion......No one.
Is there a pressure fighter who could do it? educate me..
