I like Kessler as a fighter, and I definitely think he could beat B-Hop, but I don't know about clearly. When Bernard fights everything that previously was clear becomes extremely murky indeed.
haha I like that, sums up B-Hops ability to take away a guys best weapon.
At 175 no one, not clearly. Dawson could beat him possibly, to be honest Bernard has nothing to prove by sticking around, he could retire now without losing anything. And he should because there's nothing more to achieve, the Calzaghe fight woulda been a perfect win to end a brilliant career but people know it was a close, hard fought fight, and Bernard is obviously not the fighter he once was, yet he still kept it competitive. He has 20 middleweight defences and he's a boxing legend in his own lifetime. He should focus on promoting now.
Dumb question, there's no one who can "clearly" beat Hopkins right now, that is there is nobody who we can undoubtedly say will beat him, let alone beat him clearly. Calzaghe, an unbeaten 10-year champ and linear super middleweight champ could barely beat him.
In terms of fighters who could conceivably beat Bernard, guys like Dawson, Pavlik...and even then you can't say they'd beat him clearly. Or at all.
175 and up...

Kessler could do it imo

Haye? come on man, Skill for Skill its not even close between him and hopkins. :lol1:
Pound for pound, no. But there's no reason to believe Hopkins can hang with a big man like that
When I mean clearly, I mean like either a 9-3 decision or up. Or by KO. 175 and up.
I don't think there is anyone who could beat Hopkins comfortably. Most of the contenders at LHW would have a chance of winning, but Hopkins would have a chance too. Maybe Calzaghe if they fought again?
