I was talking to a friend of mine earlier.
He asked me "what do you think is the worst punch somebody could take?"
I said a hay maker to the chin.
What does everyone think?
Liver shot is one of the mosts effective punches.
The jab is also extremly effective when utilized properly, one punch can control the pace of the entire fight.
Keep in mind the most effective and most devestating punches are different things.
The one you dont see.
I think the jab is probably the most important though because even if you're trying to brawl up close or keep a distance, it always starts with the jab.
Bill Paisley once said "It's not about the long ball or the short ball, it's about the RIGHT ball. And that's the one that puts your opponent under pressure."
I think that his wisdom could equally apply here.
On October 28, 2006, he was murdered at a church in Norwich, Jamaica by an assailant wielding a 2 inch thick steel pipe. He suffered multiple blows to the head which resulted in him dying at the scene of the attack.
Police have arrested 2 men (one of the men arrested and charged is Berbick's 20-year-old nephew) in connection with the death, and were interrogating him at the Port Antonio police station in Portland as of early in the morning of October 29. Local residents have indicated that the suspect was involved in a land dispute with Berbick. On November 3 it was reported that Berbick's nephew, 20-year-old Harold Berbick, and an unidentified 18-year-old man had been charged with his murder by Jamaican police. On December 20, 2007 Harold Berbick was found guilty of the murder of his uncle. His alleged accomplice, Kenton Gordon, was found guilty of manslaughter. Both were sentenced on January 11, 2008.
Shit.
That's terrible.
Is Berbick dead?

To the temple. The softest spot on the head. You know the punch Ottke used on Mundine and Tyson on Berbick (RIP).
Uppercut to the chin or perfect body shot to the liver hurt the most.
Worst one you could probably take is right on the temple or even worse a rabbit punch to the back of the head.
