Anyone saying Calzaghe p4p #1 is dumb

How do you compare a guy who fought in europe all his life and was protected to a guy that was arguably the best fighter ever? i see calzaghe has more credibility being on the p4p rather than floyd who choses to make dumb decisions going to WWE in his primes yrs

I say Gorgeous George is p4p number 1, there isn't much you can say that can make me change my mind considering it is objective.

I find the title pound for pound pretty meaningless but based on how this title is supposed to be bestowed on a fighter I'd half to say Mayweather wins the title hands down. Now saying who's the best in a particular weight division in my mind is a different story and should be awarded by fights won in that division. That being said I'd have to say Mayweather can possibly make the claim as best Jr Welterweight but right now Cotto is the best Welterweight since he's earned that title in the ring. Fighting should be retired media stars like Dela Hoya or blown up Jr welterweights don't mean much in my book .

People talk about p4p these days as though it were a live title that you can actually win undisputedly. I remember the days when it was always "arguably p4p #1", now its "undisputed p4p #1".
