and Tito isn't far behind.
Beating "names" doesn't matter at all when they are from lower weight classes.
Tito was repeated knocked down by welterweights, outboxed by a few as well.
Oscar was great but the 2003 middleweight Oscar was not
The biasedness is that Hopkins is lauded as a "Legend" yet has achieved nothing more than Calzaghe and I would pick quite a few guys who Calzaghe fought over Hopkins weak resume and even Hopkins himself.
As for Joe's legacy I never said it was great did I?
He joins a long list of fighters who from the last 20-30 years will always be asked the question....WHAT IF???
That list includes Bernard Hopkins , Roy Jones Junior , Sven Ottke , Joe Calzaghe , Floyd Mayweather , Riddick Bowe , Ike Ibeabuchi , Naseem Hamed etc etc etc etc.....
THINK before you ASSUME.:luvbed:
Sorry, most boxing experts and hardcore boxing fans will NEVER ask WHAT IF when analyzing Hopkins' career.
His WHAT IFS were answered when he dethroned Antonio Tarver. More what ifs were answered previously against Felix Trinidad. And his last WHAT IF was answered when he beat (narrowly) Winky Wright.
Joe Calzaghe can't come close to that pedigree. He can't come close to it. He can't even sniff it.
Jeff Lacy was a bust. Just ask Omar Shieka. I ask, again, who the hell is Kessler? He's a decent fighter. I didn't see anything overly special about him. Plus, he's from DENMARK. LOL!
I'd pick Kessler over all of those guys.
Kessler who punked out of the Miranda fight?
I'll need to see him winning against some good competition to rate the guy that highly.
Sorry pal. But you cannot compare Manfredo, Lacy and Kessler to
Trinidad, Winky and Tarver...
sorry cant be done. :nonono:
I'd pick Kessler over all of those guys.
This is just jokes, no?
Except I really didn't read it.
It was one of those moments when I made a few threads and then left for the day. I would have been happy to talk hypothetical boxing scenarios with any of you motherfuckers.
I didn't read this shit, but thanks for posting.
Did anyone I like post in here?
