I have mad love for the Boricuas. I never have let the boxing rivalry spill out into full fledged ignorance. I have family that are Boricua and have always respected and felt a connection to the tierra de borinquen. My uncle who is from Cupey Alto, Puerto Rico calls me boriqua cause I know more about puerto Rico and its history than his own son.

Completamente de acuerdo. I'm Mexican-Am and my wife is a Puertorican. Got married in PR this last year. Latinos are full of pride. I will be flying east to see this fight.

Estoy de acuerdo con ustedes, pero siempre podemos defirir de la opinion de una a otro pero con respeto. Yo respeto mucho a estos dos gran boxeadores que cada vez que suben al ring dan su 100% y nos entretienen a nosotros sus fanaticos. Gane el que gane esto va ser una gran pelea y gran orgullo para nosotos los latinos.

Tienes razon en lo que has escrito carnal, pero lamentable mente la rivalidad en el boxeo entre Boricuas y Mejicanos es muy grande y hay muchas personas que siempre van a verlo como que el ganador de una pelea de esta magnitud entre dos guerreros como lo son Margarito y Cotto, va a representar que pais produce los mejores boxeadores. Es muy dificil no verlo de esa manera, es parte del patriotismo entre estos dos paises.
