Not alot of people on here giving Pavlik much of a chance against kessler? kinda surprising.. I think this is just a pick em fight, no clear cut winner, and anything could happen.
They think his tattoo's makes him tougher or something.
OK so I took a page from Miranda's book!LOL
pavlik all fucking day. get this euro crap out of here. mikkel is overrated. he is skilled but I dont see what the big deal is and another euro fighter, joe c, proved me right. mikkel aint shit. I dont see him beating elite fighters. i think he beats every bfighter out there but when he steps up to A class, he will come up short. his performance against calzaghe was so lackluster. he did nothing speacial except maybe an uppercut or two.
Everyone rates Kessler so highly like he is some sort of machine. He has never beaten a grade A fighter. I just do not see what others see in him.
He has good fundamental boxing skills, but he let Joe bully him. Both he and Joe's claim to fame is each other. I just don't get it.
I personally think he wants to keep riding the European circuit, grab a belt and keep defending it there against more of the Euro closed circuit guys.
Pavlik, who always looks sloppy but gets the job done, is in a tough fight at first, but wears Kessler down and stops him mid rounds. Kessler is really nothing special. All he has ever done was beat up on old weak ass 168 pounders, who fought at 168 to avoid the toughies at 160 and 175.
People claim that 168 became some sort of hotbed. Notice that it was mostly filled with substandard guys who all wanted a trinket belt? So Joe and Mikkel went in and beat them. Big Whoop!

i think kessler has enough of a chin and plenty of boxing skillz to exploit the crude pavlik, he also has a punch that will get pavliks attention, that being said pavlik has enough power to ko anyone with enough shots at 160 or 168
yeah but look at the competition. He fought calzaghe and it was a competitive fight the whole way. It's not like Kessler was EXPOSED or showed glaring flaws and weaknesses. Calzaghe was just the better fighter. It could be said about a lot of fighters.

kessler by KO/TKO. They're both prototypical squared up fighters that keep moving forward and throw predictable 1-2's. Only difference is Kessler is the stronger of the two.
Kessler is naturally the bigger, stronger guy (no not height, someone always brings that up) and does everything Pavlik does just as good. Kessler wins a UD.
Roy is very unorthodox and his hand speed will really hurt Kessler. Kessler is a fighter who likes to fight other boxers, he didn't look too good against Calzaghe because of his Southpaw stance. Roy Jones doesn't throw many jabs to Kessler wont be able to get his jab going.
also Ricky remember how slow he looked against Zag ,imagine him against Roy Jones JR :lol1:
Reggie Johnson was a good fighter & Jones made him look like a right Jack ass ,there were times in that fight where Reggie Johnson was petrified of letting his hands go because he had already been tagged with 1 2 and visited the canvas
Yeah no doubt, Kessler has a chance, he's naturally bigger but I believe Roy would be too fast for him.

Nah.. I don't but that one bit. Sure, Roy is an incredible fighter and he may have done it on one or two ocassions when his opponents where heavily out matched but there is no way he would try and toy with people who can punch. Roy didn't like getting punched if he could avoid it, he finished his opponents off with out taking much/ any punishment in return.
I think Terrible might be right in regards to the Kessler fight though, Kessler can obviously punch and is very dangerous so Roy would likely try to finish him quick.

Co-sign on that my brother.
Prime Roy Jones toys with fighters and finish them off when he feels like it.

thats because Roy Carried them if he wanted to get rid of Kessler who poses a bigger threat the longer he is in the fight Roy would get him out of thier ASAP

Really? What round?
I think Kessler would go the distance with Jones. Lesser fighters have done that, I don't see why Mikkel can't.

I think he would TKO him. (Roy Jones by TKO)
A prime Roy Jones is 99,99% unbeatable.

I've got a lot of respect for Kelly, but Mikkel would stop him IMHO, if he got him wobbled like Taylor did in their 1st fight, he would have put Kelly to sleep
