You'll be crying after the fight. You'll probably feel like you lost yourself. Your so obsessed with Calzaghe your life will head into an uncontrollable tail spin. You won't know how to cope when you start realizing that you only loved Calzaghe for his looks and not his boxing skill. This is not going to end well for you my man. Just don't go committing suicide or anything.
Funny. Thanks for the laugh. As both fan of both fighters (with only a slight bias towards Calzaghe), what you're saying is pretty much meaningless to me.
Calzaghe will win 8 or 9 rounds. I just hope we have non-biased judges. You get allot of dodgy decisions in America.
it goes both ways. a few americans have had questionable calls in britannia as well.
it only looks like it happens more often in america because there's a lot more fights here...... and you can say the fights are more competitive as well.
dodgy or not. i say calzaghe wins a close fight ud or sd.
I'm also worried about the judges in Vegas. I've a feeling that Joe may need a KO to get a victory. America and Germany are hard countries to get decisions over the home fighters.
I dont think he will need a KO to win, but I do think Hopkins will get the benefit of the doubt more then most. I think it will be about 8-4 or 9-3 for Calzaghe, but that the judges will have it a one or two point split win for Joe.
I say he wins about 4 rounds, but it will still be a split win for Calzaghe. It wont be a UD no matter how much Calzaghe actually wins by.

i see hopkins beating calzaghe, and wobbling him bad. i haven't been vocal about this fight, because it really doesn't take my fancy, but i'll explain this, hopkins is too smart of a fighter imo for joe. joe can stay busy all he wants, but hopkins will exploit joe's mistakes and counter joe and wobble him. call me crazy, but i see joe being stopped possibly, but we'll have to wait until the 19th won't we?
I suggest to most of you to rewatch Calzaghe - Kessler. Hopkins' best chance is to win the early rounds like Kessler did because late on Calzaghe took it up a notch and took 7 out of the last 8 rounds. I definitely see some weaknesses in Calzaghe which Hopkins can exploit being the defensive master he is but I don't think he will be able to cope with the pace (providing the Weight gain doesn't effect his stamina and speed).
