Roy Jones Jr ricky feelin ok today?

There is a lot of film of Robinson as a middleweight, but almost none of him at his peak as a welterweight. But even as an aging middleweight you can clearly see his greatness. The footage I've seen of him at welterweight is practically unwatchable. Grainy B & W clips with a big flash in the middle of the screen.

Is Sugar Ray Robinson the best boxer because you were told his is, or did you actually sit down watch enough of his fights to come to that conclusion yourself? Watching him at the time people said he was old gives me chills knowing he was better when he was young.

Maybe because he went over 90 straight fights without losing against mostly top competition. Robinson and Armstrong probably have the strongest claims, although Greb has a claim due to his resume (not on the film existing of him :rofl:).

Theres alot of debate about who is the best boxer of all time but what about the best fighter aswel? AND WHY? MY VOTE GOES TO SUGAR RAY ROBINSON FOR BOXER. Why? Because he was a great boxer he had speed and power but wasnt afraid of fighting like some boxers (roy jones) and he could fight when needed showing alot of heart. Best fighter of all time Jake Lamotta! the reason why i chose him was because he was underrated in the defense department but was very gd at defended himself and he would fight anyone. He was the first guy to beat sugar ray robinson which says alot about him and he was a great fighter fighting in different divisions.
