In what round will Margarito KO Cintron??

As I stated...

There is a such a silly disdain placed towards Margarito on here, and for no reason at all. He's a good fighter. He's beena top welterweight for years, and he's just a decent guy. There are much more likely candidates to root against than him. Margarito will knock the hell out of Cintron. It's sad that still 37% think Cintron will win, and I presume these 37% will be the first to discredit Margarito in the future.

It's fight day folks, Margarito is gonna KO Cintron and make him cry like a bitch again. 20 people picked Cintron to pull off the upset...Do any of guys wanna man up and bet some points??

Paul Williams sure made Margarito look like a one dimensional joke, now if Paul Williams can do that shit, I can see kermit making it look so one sided aswell. Williams and Cintron fight nothing alike, in fact they couldn't be more opposite in every way except both being relatively tall welterweights. I'm not putting as much stock into Margarito-Cintron I as others, but it is worth noting that Cintron was the only one who looked like an amateur that night. He's improved since then, but not to the degree that everyone's suggesting, he's just been well-matched. Estrada was a good test for a comeback fight (or at least 2nd fight after the Margarito disaster), but I didn't see any great improvement in that fight or any other since then. People want to compare his blitzing of Matthysse to Williams' slight struggle against him, but again, it comes down to styles. Kermit is a power puncher, Williams is a finesse fighter. Kermit's seemingly at his peak and Tony's a bit on the slide, which should make this weekend more competitive than three years ago (not to mention Kermit going into that fight on after a layoff, and really not fighting anyone worth a damn prior to). But I'd be surprised if Cintron won this weekend.

i don't see this as an upset at all if cintron wins like i think he will. the guy had a real bad loss and is wanting no more than to vindicate himself, people act as if this has never been done before. Yeah but it doesn't really matter if we were talking about a potential fight between Antonio Margarito and Henry Bruseles. You'd still find a case and explain how the Puerto Rican wins the fight. Yeah. I think Cintron's face will just keep getting more and more red as the fight goes on and he just won't be able to keep Tony off him. Margarito makes quick work of Cintron in 5 rds.. Margarito won't be messing around, especially knowing this may be the last chance to fight Cotto coming up in July.

Cintron wont be able to keep Margarito on the outside by Boxing he aint good enough to do that IMO he could'nt keep Feliciano off him I thought about it too. You are not wrong. Still, if Kermits voluntarly seeks this fight... his team must be convinced Kermit will bring it and "outboxed" Margarito. I would not be surprise to see Kermit southpaw stand during the fight. He did say he has a "surprise for Tony", you never know. Maybe the "unorthodox idea" of fighting southpaw cost him the fight. My gut feeling keeps telling me that after watching the tape for years, revenge is a very powerful tool to rely on when you want to improve yourself. I expect a lot of people to be surprised by the outcome. If you know boxing, you know this is not a lopsided fight like it was years ago. I expect a great fight and hope Kermit comes out victorious..

IMO, Kermit will box in the first for rounds, hit and run. Tony will lose his cool and temper. Tony might be "too confident" on passing over Cintron to get to Cotto. He is going to get surprised by Cintron. If Kermit goes out looking for a KO, he will get frustrated once again, and will lose by KO.
