Miranda vs Zuniga would be a war, the battle of Columbia....Zuniga is underrated, he is tough as nails and can punch like a mule...This one could go either way IMO. I think we have to keep in mind Green was weeks away from major surgery during their first fight. However, I still have to believe we can do better than this for an HBO fight. I have no desire to see a rematch of that fight. Despite the fact that Green appears to be in better health, he still seems to have some mental issues in the ring. Greens one of my favorite fighters so I'm hoping he gets another HBO date soon. Don't care who it's against. Like your shirts too by the way, I'll be ordering one soon.

Probably Miranda and Zuniga come in here Conclusion: I haven't seen Miranda fight against a top 20 SMW, so im gonna reserve judgement. Can't wait to see the pantera back in the ring again. Me neither, but except for Lacy, I cannot see any in your list having the 1 punch knockout power that Miranda possesses. They are all good punchers, although Bika is only average at best.

Librado Andrade is a terrible opponent because I feel that style wise Librado can shock alot of ppl and get the upset. If Miranda can't hurt his opponent he is fucked, and I feel Miranda would have a better chance at hurting someone like Kessler, Bute, Bika, before even having a chance at hurting Librado. If andrade is the opponent I automatically pick him to beat Miranda. It'd be an upset if Miranda beat Andrade, not the other way around.

How would a fight between Miranda/Codrington or Zuniga make HBO? HBO will probably put it on BAD in a double header with another fight.

According to Steve Kim over at maxboxing, he's heard a fight with Zuniga is a possibility.

SMW contender Edison Miranda has changed network and will fight next on june 21 on HBO. On the same card will be a WW eliminator under WBC between Berto and Rodiguez. Jeff Lacy was at first considered an opponent for Miranda put he pulled out. As did Sakio Bika as his wife is expecting a baby at the same time. Guess who the opponent will be!!!!!!!!????????? The sources also told me that former world titlist Jeff Lacy called his promoter, Golden Boy Promotions, and showed interest in the bout. When a deal was put on the table, Lacy decided to move in a different direction. I wish we knew what the contracts said, do you think Lacy was going to get screwed in the contract so he left it?
