My apologies if someone posted this already, I skimmed the first couple of pages for a thread.
If Hopkins beats Calzaghe, should he be bumped ahead of Floyd in the p4p standings?
Can an argument be made for Calzaghe if he beats Hopkins?
i would put him at #1 cause of the three recent ranked fighters he beat and how old he is. (even thou i think floyd will be number 1) i just wish he would fight someone ranked or a welterweight

one could make an argument that if hopkins beats calzaghe then he will be p4p #1.
IMHO it depends on how Hopkins beats Calzaghe... if he squeaks by with a split decision or in a controversial decision, or a close Majority decision I say no. If he dominates Calzaghe like 8-4 rounds or he tKO or KOs Calzaghe, it's a very compelling argument.
While what he'd be doing would be pretty remarkable, it's basically impossible to dethrone Floyd unless he really goes inactive or loses. It'd be tough to decide #2 or #3 w/ Pac's "win" over JMM.
if hopkins wins he cant go higher than 3rd without being bias (in my opinion)
if calzaghe wins hopkins just falls down on the p4p list while calzaghe would most likely stay at his spot (number 3).
i cant move mayweather or pacquiao down the list without a loss really or a terrible performance...
Solid argument.
Floyd is my fav. fighter, but if B-Hop pulls this one off (considering he's 43), NO ONE can deny him of being the best fighter in the world & beating the best they have to offer...
