I made this thread weeks ago when I first heard about it! Now that it's official; let see what everyone thinks...

I think Wlad is going to prove all his doubters wrong and knock him out. That's right, Wlad's gonna beat his ass.

I gotta say Klitschko by TKO in the 8th round. Thompson looks susceptible to Klit's one-two which will end it. I dont see any real power to keep Klitschko off him. Another day at the office

oh please, Thompson is better than shitty ass Ibragimov. I feel bad saying that because Ibragimov is a nice guy, but I have never ever thought of him as anything good at all. Thompson looked good against Krasniqi, and Krasniqi is someone who was easily beating Brewster before he got caught with some huge shots. and this was a Brewster before a huge layoff and before one of his eyes was blinded. it is NOT impossible for Wlad to lose a decision. I dont see it happening with the people in this division...but this is not the same Wlad as years ago. he doesnt throw a lot of punches, and an active fighter with good conditioning and infighting ability could possibly take advantage of that. years ago it was basically impossible for Wlad to lose a decision, because he was a beautiful offensive fighter who would simply unload on his opponents in the first few rounds, and because of the combo of speed, reach and power there wasnt much anyone could do. problem is, Wlad CANT unload like that, cause he gases out and can be prone to a knockout. but that isnt the Wlad that fights today, much different fighter. I'm convinced you're Tony Thompson.

Thompson has no chance in hell....Wlad will destroy Thompson and win by KO. You Americans can kiss another one of your heavyweights goodbye.:D Co-sign my brother

Thompson is a very good fighter, & seems to be the overlooked guy in the division. However, don't think that Steward will overlook him, & Wlad should be prepared for him. This is one of the best matchup's in the division - Thompson is a very big pressure fighter who throws a lot punches per round, so Wlad won't be able to coast, & we should see some very qood exchanges in this one as well as a fast pace, mostly thanks to Thompson. However, Wlad is the harder, more accurate puncher, with the better defence. Big question will be how does Wlad's stamina hold up down the stretch if Wlad isn't able to get Thompson out of there in the first 6 or 7 rounds, or have him so badly hurt that he isn't able to offer much of a consistent attack in the later rounds. Damn good matchup, & am looking forward to this one.

Klitschko by TKO. Let’s say round 8… I haven't seen a lot of Thompson but I think Wlad is going to throw that right of his more often in this fight, which isn't good for anyone he faces.

Wlad will show the world some big punching in this one. Thompson wont last more than 5.

Great to hear this fight is going through. I think Wlad's quickness and power will be too much for Thompson to handle, but I really don't expect and early KO/TKO.

Thompson isn't that good, ppl on here are overrating him. He is not getting underrated on here, but leaps overrated. People comparing him to Sultan Ibragimov are fucking jokes, because not only is ibragimov smaller then him, but he is leaps stronger and faster then Thompson though Thompson is an old guy but Ibragimov is way better. That BlackIrish poster is a fucking joke for even thinking Thompson is better then Ibragimov at this point in Thompsons career. I agree. I cant believe someone thinking thompson is better than sultan. sultan is just much more talented. faster hands,,,better combination punching,,,movement and power. the only thing thompson has over sultan is size. he's awckward and keeps his hands high. unfortunately,,,this could be another ugly fight for wlad stylistically,,but he should win pretty easily again as he did with sultan

Did yall see the rounds that Wlad lost against Calvin Brock? THATS GONNA BE HAPPININ ALLLLLLLLL NIGHT! See how reluctant Wlad was to throw punches against a light hitting smaller southpaw in Sultan Ibragimov? How will he do against a more active, harder hitting southpaw with longer reach than him??? Klitschko has 0 ability to counterpunch, and Thompson with his high guard(Klitschko never throws body shots anyway) will walk forward, consistantly punching all night(Klitschko goes out of his way to avoid almost every punch), and bufuddle Klitschko with his longer reach and southpaw stance(Klitschko is used to fighting smaller guys who are right handed) and pile up points for the UD baby! :lol1: :lol1: Hello Tony Thompson :wave: Are you looking forward to getting knocked out cold by Wlad???....It's not that bad Tony....at least you'll get a big payday.:lol1:

this reminds me a lot of Lewis vs Michael Grant. Grant was the best heavyweight available to fight Lewis. Grant beat solid opposition, and Grant went onto get steamrolled in 2.....Wlad destroys Thompson in 4. Thompson isn't that good, ppl on here are overrating him.
