C`mon guys we`re talkin bout money mayweather, he has nothing to proof anymore. He is just bored, is a born entertainer and takes some pocket money by the way. :bling:
what he's doing is alienating those who respect him for his skills in the ring. To his lovers who like all his arrogance 'humour' and bravado he hasn't lost any credibiliy as he's just being good ol' money mayweather and getting $20m. But to others, I'd say myself included who appreciate his ability first and foremost as a boxer he is losing alot of credibility.
I understand exactly where you coming from. Fuck how much money he is making because I'm not seeing a dime of it. I try to support him but its rather hard too....when he's fighting a guy he already beat. Now he is talking about giving Hatton a rematch. As a fan of his talent that shit pisses me the fuck off!!! I've tried to defend him about some of his moves but this one is just not justified(other than money purposes which I really dont agree with). It would be acceptable if he were to fight Cotto then have the rematch with Hatton.
Coming from a straight foward Mayweather fan...He is really putting his fans in rough spot. Some of the shit he is doing is uncalled for and he needs to cut that shit out. I'm a fan of what he does in the ring, but he is getting a little carried away with some of his bullshit he is doing. I know he is on top of his game now and he needs to prove who's the best p4p fighter is! (just my opinion)

more like mayweather has damaged wwe credibility wrestling used to be a respected sport before he came
LOL!
Yah cuz its one thing to see Vinny Mac making some pore wrestling dude kiss his ass in the Ring , but the no class Mayweather has really made Pro Wrestling unwatchable !
Mayweather = No Class !
i dont think there is a question WHO the is the best p4p fighter right now, my only issue is that if he is to be called the best p4p and he wants to keep that title, profit from that title and benefit from that title, than he needs to be doing what the best p4p does. if not, he should walk away from the sport being one of the best thats ever done it.
I agree. One or two things: put up or shut up

of course it has, not only him but boxing's credibility as well.
I'd agree, especially with the way they are hyping it with all this 'face of boxing' nonsense.
nah
mayweather had little credit as far as being a stand up guy anyway so it dosn't really do anything. as a fighter i give him all the credit in the world. p4p 6 time world champ. he is the best. but as a peson he seems so annoying. his constant need to talk himself up leads me to think he must be insecure for a reason(small dick maybee but who knows) and it's not his fighting skills.
I don't see why people are getting so bent out about it... OF COURSE I rather him defend his crown against WORTHY challengers, (ala Cotto) but Cotto's fighting Gomez & then he's CONTRACTUALLY obligated to fight the winner of the Cintron-Margarito Slugfest! This is just a way to increase his marketability & enhance his image! It's no different when he was on dancing with the stars & everyone said he was unfocused on boxing & he was going to get beat by the Hatton & then he knocked Ricky out!
To be honest this says a lot about Floyd's market value, that he can headline the one of the BIGGEST sporting events there is in Wrestlemania & he's not a WRESTLER or a HEAVYWEIGHT! My only concern is him getting hurt by the Big Show, b/c of a mistake, revenge, (for broken nose) and/or jealously...
With the WWE being a place loaded with guys who have a "whose got a bigger dick" type of mentality, I see no way that this Big Show guy doesn't try to get some retribution against Floyd for breaking his nose. Yeah it's all scripted, but I sense that Big Show have an interest in improv.
Are you kidding? Some of the greatest boxers of all time (mostly heavyweights) have done pro wrestling stunts without it damaging their reputations in the least.
When Mike Tyson appeared in the WWF he had already been convicted of rape and had recently bitten an opponents ear off during a match. It is difficult to construct an argument saying he had any credibility left!
how about big show on larry king live saying... its crazy to sit next to someone worth half a billion dollars.... like what? not only is floyd not worth 20% of that... but vince mcmahon is worth double LOL
Its making him look foolish, and fraudulant. I can understand if he was actually taking care of business in the boxing ring, by taking on the REAL challenges, but he's not. Most fans would give him a pass on this wwe crap if Floyd was actually aiming towards WW unification, rather than rematching 2 guys who he's already beaten.
