Because Cotto will not make it out of the margarito fight with a win. You cotto blind nut huggers are so eager to face floyd just like everybody else. Cotto nut huggers talk down on floyd and his resume......ummmm you should slap yourself and realise cotto's resume doesnt touch floyds. The two biggest wins for cotto is a judah that mayweather outclassed in judahs prime and and old mosley that turned down a floyd fight when mosley was in his prime. And cotto had his hand full with mosley lol. Im getting tired of this cotto bull shit like he is god or something. He is a solid opponent for may but its stupid to say floyd is scared. Cotto has margarito waiting in front of him. If he gets passed margarito then start going for floyd but I dont think cotto will win a fight with margarito then all you cotto fans can stfu!
Well stated D-Dub
Hey did you catch that Wednesday Night Figth. He took a beating. It was a touch cookie at 135 though.
I didn't... I was actually getting James Toney drunk (tell me if you get the joke).
I heard it was pretty damn one-sided though. I knew it was going to be like that. The slicker you are, the more success you are likely to have if you move up a ton of divisions... Castillo wasn't slick, he was just physical as hell, and that doesn't work at the higher weight divisions.
I'm making a thread about Castillo's 135 run.

I don't know what the word "biggest" means when it comes to a win if it doesn't mean best.
I say Corrales and Castillo because...
1. Corrales was a P4P elite, who was undefeated, and it was the most one-sided win I have ever seen between two fighters that are both so highly regarded.
2. Castillo, after the pair of Mayweather matches, went on an incredible run, cleaning out the lightweight division.
Oscar was old, and Hatton was small. Really, those are both true, although I think people blow those statements wildly out of proportion to the point that they try to claim that those wins mean basically nothing.
:You_Rock_
and those that read correctly hint hint YOU will note i didnt say best I said biggest. He lost to Castillo once and worked him the next. He man handled Corrales yes those were great wins but he never even mentions them he too thinks his biggest NOT best remember I said biggest wins are against hatton and DLH. I know you wont give him to much credit for those wins buddy

it's very argueable! I don't consider hatton or dlh his biggest wins. Judah would have been on his biggest wins if he hadnt messed around and lost to baldi. Judah was the king at the time. I say corrales and castillo are above dlh and hatton. Any knowledgeable fan knew dlh nor hatton had a chance coming into the fight. Corrales was a great victory! Castillo is a legend!
But... in reality, those people who actually know Mayweather's career know that that neither De La Hoya or Hatton make the top 2 list of Mayweather's best wins.
1. Corrales
2. Castillo

Floyd has my respect for the God given talent and his work ethic but he needs to beat at least 2 of the top 3 either Cotto, tony or PW to get true respect. Everyone talks shit about Cotto and tony and their resume yet look at floyd his two biggest wins are DLH (past his prime) and Hatton (a punching bag). Come o Floyd fight PW, Tony and Cotto and at least I will shut up
Win lose or draw.

Ok lets get our facts straight buddy. Mayweather Did call out Mosely in about 2001 or 02 I beleive however Floyd was still making a name for yourself. He had to prove himself first. About a year ago Mosely called out Floyd and he said he is nothing but a sparring partner. If floyd is so sure he will beat teh Mosleys and cottos and Tonys why not take the fight for an easy payday???? He will make at least 10 million for either one yet he doesnt take it why?????Cause he is scared and thinks he might lose and tarnish his legacy. The sad thing is that I think it would be 3 tough fights but I have him wining all 3. His legacy is going to be the most skilled and talented fighter of his era who failed to become a true great P4P champion because he ducked all the top 5-7 people in his division. I dont know about you but to me that is sad
I totally agree with you. Floyd should clean out the division. He should fight cotto, margarito, williams. And when he's done with that the calling outs and the he's scared of this guy now will continue. when does it stop? I dont like dlh vs floyd II. The first fight everyone here was saying floyd was going to get knocked out. after the fight it was boring and dlh was old. some even say dlh won lol anything to discredit floyd. I hope he cleans out the division he is clearly the most talented gifted boxer in the sport it gets annoying hearing the blind cotto fans saying floyd is scared lol I hope he fights cotto but i dont think cotto makes it out of a margarito fight.
It doesn't, it's not supposed to until after you retire, but no one retires in their prime that's why no one takes him seriously.
Question for you... How can you stand behind a cherry picking fighter that avoids all the top ranked fighters in the welter weight division?...
If Cotto avoided tough fights like Margarito Puerto Rico itself would turn their backs on him..."they do not tolerate scared punks!"
Seriously, Cintron has the worst defence ive seen in a while, defensivley he makes Amir Khan look like James Toney, cant see punches coming, doesnt bother to watch for them, cant block a basic jab, tried to use a mayweather style shell but ended up rolling into hooks, the guy is just awful.
But despite all that, he could have beaten margarito if he had stayed on the outside because margarito is so damn wide and cant defend straight punches, he's virtually non existant on the move as well as he really like to set himself before unloading all kinds of shots.
The problem for margarito is gonna be cotto's jab, he'll find cotto a damn site harder to hit too because cotto has a far tighter guard than cintron and cotto is actually well skilled.
...
How about... Joshua Clottey?
Sergio Martinez 41-1, ranked in the top 10 of The Ring's 154 rankings.
Antonio Diaz, who holds a win over Cory Spinks.
:owned::owned:
AND Still you can't name who has Margarito beat other than an iMmAtUrE Cintron!!!!:owned:
