Joel Casamayor Vs Amir Khan

i do think that once casa is DEFINITLEY shot then warren will put the fight together (similar to the way he waited for zoo/hatton), and amir will win it easily, but on the evidence of last night casa is at least 2 years from shot, so its another 2 years worth of nobodies for khan. He would get flattened by kastidis regardless of last nights result

I would love to see Katsidis against Khan. At this moment I don't think Khan could beat Casamayor. Just because of the experience factor. Khan is a good talent and offensively is fun to watch, but I think Casa would know some tricks to win the fight. Katsidis/Khan would be interesting. Could Khan counter Katsidis and hurt him bad or would Katsidis just break down the will of Khan. I could see either guy winning. I doube Warren puts Khan in there against anybody really tough. He might wait till a weak champion emerges and go after that guy and then have Khan fight useless mandatories so he can make huge cash.

I still believe Katsidis will destroy Amir Khan. And I mean knock him out cold!!!! Khan's skills are nowhere near the level of Casamayor and he would be lucky to last 5 rounds. I would put all my points on Katsidis to KO Khan should this fight ever happen.

I think you could be right, he doesn't want to fight Thaxton for some reason. Probably because it would be a step down in opposition and a waste of time. Thaxton is a bum trying to ride the wave of Khan's fame for a big payday. I just can't believe so many people think Khan is 'ducking' Thaxton, considering the same people criticise him for not going after bigger opponents. They don't seem to understand!

If Khan states he is the best in the world will this fight ever happen, or will Wank Warren duck every opp to match his boy in with anybody or note. I thnik we all know the awnser to that! Khan might fight katsidis now katsidis is no longer undefeated.

Never seen Thaxton fight outside of the Hatton fight. I assume he has slowed since then. I'd think Amir would just get on his bike and work of the jab. I think Khan is a world class offensive talent. I just think we all kind of know someone eventually is going to knock him the fuck out. Might as well be at world title level.

They wanted Katsidis. Khan would have smashed Katsidis, I have no doubt. Still might happen. Casamayor is a sly old fox, you wouldn't want to fight him if you didn't have to. Especially when you have a Nate Campbell with all them belts. I think Khan could go balls out for a title now to honest. If he loses, so what?

Casamayor looked sharper vs Katsidis but he looked like and old fighter at times and I think he'll be there for the taking against a young fighter sooner rather than later. Warren should wait for about a year or so and match Khan against Casamayor, Casamayor's skills could degrade enough by then for Khan to beat him.

This is another one of those situations where the experience of a great fighter that is past his prime will set in. Kahn hasn't fought anyone and is being matched carefully. Casamayor by unanimous decision.
