Why is Bryan Vera still standing?

All I gotta say to this. Vera got a CHIN! Damn he was eating every straight left flush on the chin by Lee. Not budging an inch. Guy was determined to pull off the upset and got it. yea... good chin... I wonder how hard lee hits... Actually i wonder how good those guys lee knocked out were,... Ugly stoppage but Vera can take a punch and keep coming. I think he would've finished Lee off even without the idiotic referee stepping in because he was simply too tough for Lee. If you can't hurt a guy, what stops him from coming at you? Lee lacked the defense and toughness to make up for his lack of KO power (not saying he doesn't have power but he didn't have enough to hurt Vera). I think Lee will be back, possibly in a rematch against Vera but we won't be hearing about Lee vs Pavlik again for another year or two.

Atleast Vera is very respectful in the interview.

I have to give it to Vera even though that stoppage was questionable. He was relentless taking big shot after big shot and then dishing punishment of his own. In Lee's last fight against Falliga he got hit with some wide shots and Vera was landing with wide shots as well. The difference was he never stopped and landed enough to hurt Lee badly. Im honestly shocked right now.

YOU DO NOT STOP A FIGHT WHEN A FIGHTER IS IN THE MIDDLE OF RETURNING A PUNCH. That robbed Lee of either coming back or Vera of getting a real K.O. Andy was fighting back. Terrible stoppage. Yes, he was getting smacked around- but he was answering back at the very instant he was stopped. The referee can actually be seen stopping the fight WHILE Andy Lee is throwing a punch....?

Because he's come to win. He's working his ass off getting in, even using a jab against the taller Lee, and really letting himself go once he gets in. Andy doesn't seem to have much inside game at all and when Vera gets past the distance Lee likes...Andy doesn't have much to answer with. hardly any body work by lee as well.
