I just saw him on Raw last night. I didn't watch the whole broadcast and dont really like the WWF very much since it became what it is nowin maybe the mid 90's but I like what he does in the WWF. It's like he's known the whole time his on TV persona is so over the top and what he does in the WWF does well at playing on that. It's quite entertaining. He does do a great job of playing the bad guy, good theatre.
I am a big wrestling fan myself and that is something that just happens at times...
his run in to save Rey Mysterio was most likely setup to have him be the "face" (good guy)...but wrestling fans stick by their wrestlers...just like us boxing fans stick by our boxers in Boxing vs MMA debates...
the pro wrestling business is an entertainment business and it is not easy to do what they do LIVE...which is what I respect about them...
Floyd is finding out how hard it can be to cut a scripted promo...those guys aren't reading off of a card and still have to stay in character and within any guideliness or relevance to their storyline...Floyd naturally has a better charm to him, but it is not translating well on the WWE mic...it is not easy, so he sounds like a robot
naw, the general public just doesnt have a positive perception of floyd. there is no complex or circumstance here that has dealt him the wrong hand. he just isnt a well like figure.

Seriously is he supposed to be a good guy or a bad guy?
Floyd was supposed to be the "David" and BS was supposed to be "Goliath". But he found out the hard way that he isnt as loved as he and many of his stans here think he is. So they made HIM the bad dude. Hence the crowd cheering when he got thrown out the ring.
From what i have read, Bigshow was known as a bad guy, but it seems as if Floyd is more disliked between the two.
After Floyd got booed in Las Vegas, Anaheim, and them Indianapolis, they decided that he would have to play the heel. I'm wondering if McMahon isn't regretting the whole thing at this point.

for real goon WWF demised around 2000, obviously you don't watch wrestling, and neither do I since NWO was dismembered LOL but EVERYBODY knows it's WWE
i think it sucks because he has to censor his words.
Do you remember what he whisperd in hattons ear, at the first presser, i was hoping he would pull that one.
Floyd's always been good at getting heat with anything in a boxing context. For some reason it just hasn't translated well on a wrestling program at least so far.

I think his acting and mic skills have been dismal, and I had expected much better from him.
