his managers always hype up the extent of his power. im telling yall after the Jeremy Williams ko, the so called "experts" compared him to a young mike tyson. how?????? how does a guy who's the most devastating puncher (like peter is hyped to be) spend 24 rounds with toney without knocking that fat pancacke down? forget the jab kd i dont count that, toney was off balance ang got up the second he hit the floor. he hit wlad some decent shots minus the knockdowns and wlad with his chin still stood up. he traded with peter, and sam only managed to knock him down once legitimately. anyone can push anyone down with a punch behind the head. hasim rahman got more power than peter. and rahman isnt even considered a super power hitter.

I'd say Wlad's proven his power more so than Peter, although Peter is a big hitter. If he sharpened up his punches a little more...straightened them out, he'd be more effective, but thats just not how he fights. Either way, the man is heavy handed, it's debatable weather or not he hits harder than Wladimir, but he's still one of the hardest punchers in the division. It's interesting Manny would say that, though. Wlad's a sharper puncher, more skilled, Peter is more of a slower clubber. Both are effective at hurting opponents.

Wlad has excellent one-punch KOs against better competition in Derrick Jefferson and Calvin Brock. You could perhaps add Austin to this list. Peter is indeed heavier handed, but Wlad throws more accurate, sharper punches. Peter doesn't have the kind of technique Wladimir has, so while he can be heavier handed, it doesn't necessarily mean he hits harder. Wlad's record speaks for itself. Ding Ding, exactly. This whole punching power argument is pretty retarded in my opinion. Some people say Shavers hit harder then Big George and Some people say Tyson hit harder then Shavers, etc.. Not one fucking person knows who hits harder then who, unless you get hit by both men cleanly. The best looking KO against all the bums both men fought, comes from Peter, still I don't know who hits harder, I know both men can hit hard if the land cleanly, Wlad does land more cleanly then Peter does. the only real imressive looking kayo peter has had in my opinion is over jeremy williams who has an awful chin. 2 common opponents are shufford and mccline. wlad dropped and stopped both whereas peter's punches couldnt drop either guy. wald clearly has better knockouts and over much better opposition

Heavy Handed fighters do more overall damage with their punches, power punchers can end a fight with 1 single punch because of a combination of timing, handspeed or other.
