Anyone else EXTREMELY dissapointed in HAYE-MACC???

it happened just like it was suppose to, who ever landed the first big shot was going to win and it happened to be haye.

How is Macca reduced to a bum? He got caught flush with the right hand and Haye won. I don't see how anyone Haye knocks out can be called a bum, that guy can KO anyone.

It was just like most people expected, and like I personally expected. My boy proved that Macca is nothing but a bum.. Hate me, but thats what he is to me. I don't understand why everyone is disapointed. It was expected to end early with a big punch and that was what happend. I know everyone wanted afew more rounds but it was expected an early knock out. Haye was just to quick and his punches were so precise and he did a good job. I know hope he can do the buisness in heavyweight but I think he will find it hard.

Yeah it was a little disappointing after all the build up, but it was one of those rare fights that got my heart rate up. I was hoping and preying for the Frank Warren fighter to lose and I got what I wanted.

I thought that was gonna be a good fight. But it was CLEAR after only a few minutes, that Macc was not on Hayes level and would not go more then 3 or 4 rounds. Haye is much much better. I cant wait to see what Haye can do at heavyweight, it is really intruiging. One guy froze up and one guy didn't, that's what I saw for the most part.. I was impressed with how Haye gobbled up the challenge. I have only seen a handful of Maccarinelli's fights, but I thought he might be in serious trouble at the staredown. His eyes were wild and bulging and Haye's were calm and determined. Look at Mac's eyes in the staredowns of previous fights. He had the calm and determined look - like Haye's tonight. Of course Mac clipped Haye with that hook early on.. It could have been the legs getting crossed a bit, but for the most part he appeared overtly tense and possibly even slightly confused. Again, I'll go back to what I said before the fight; I don't think tooling with his style was nescessary or beneficial. While he was thinking Haye as punching, and I know where the thinking comes from.. Tooling, tinkering, ect..

A dramatic KO, an absolute treat of a brawl on the under, no complaints here, totally made up. I cant wait to see what Haye can do at heavyweight, it is really intruiging. Cannae wait to see him force some of those slobs at heavy into doing some work, even if his efforts only prove noble failures.

Why be dissapointed? Haye destroyed him you can only be dissapointed if you believed the pre fight hype but we all really knew Haye would destroy him. I enjoyed the fight. It was clean and decisive, plus it allowed me to make a smooth transition to the HBO broadcast.

nooo, really? 6'4"??? no way. i was thinkin maybe 6-1 Anyway, i was mainly talking about klitschko. How he would fair in that fight is intruiging to me. How he could possible get past that jab and do something effective is difficult Well, boxrec.com has him listed at 6'3", an inch taller than Sam Peter. So I don't think size or ability would be much of a problem. Unless we're talking about Klitschko. It seems to me that the last thing you'd want to do when facing Wladimir Klitschko's right hand is keep your left hand low and your chin out, both of which Haye tends to do. Add the jab in there, and you've probably got a T/KO defeat for Haye. But Haye would probably have a pretty good shot against most of the other heavyweightss out there right now, so he may as well move up.

After the first 30 seconds, it was clear that the fight was a mismatch. Mac only had a punchers chance. You could see that Haye was the bigger puncher, had the faster hands, had the swifter feet, better reactions, was a smarter fighter, and was the better counter-puncher. Being the first time I had seen either of these guys fight, I was surprised by the hype around this fight. Haye was clearly 2 cuts above Mac skill wise, and perhaps even the harder puncher.

Not really, I expected it to be quick, maybe more of a war but I expected it to end quickly.

Fortunately for all of us it wasnt the only fight on tonight! How bad would that have sucked if it was haha
