I see the fragile Haye bandwagon forming..remember the Williams bandwagon anyone?
Haye will get KOd by a decent heavyweight, I was not impressed with his win over Mac at all.
There should have been a "maybe" option in the poll.
Agreed there should have been a Maybe option, Its not easy to define Great these days people seem to use that word easily.
He's not big enough. The fact that he can make 200lb at 6'3" and he's already 28, and look how ripped he is...I just dont see this guy being solid and fluid at 220+, which I think is a minimum these days.
I havent seen much of the guy, but he seems a bit loose, thats all good when your Ali but he isnt.
Macca was landing some good jabs on the guy, he just wouldnt be able to take them from Wlad.
You have to consider the fact that Haye cuts down to make 200 pounds. I'm sure he walks around at over 220. He wont be like the giants of the division, but he should be pretty solid at the weight.
I don't know about a great heavy, we'll have to see, but I think he can be a good heavyweight. He's not a small man, (6'3", 80 1/2 in. reach according to boxrec), he's quick handed, has tremendous power at 200 lbs, so I'm sure some will carry over to heavy, and is more athletic and coordinated than many big heavyweights. I'm glad he's moving up, maybe he'll provide us with some excitement the division has been lacking. A fast talking, hard hitting heavyweight, who knocks people out.

He'd hurt Wlad if he landed, but having said that Wlad would knock him into next week if he lands a right hand
ass wipe.... :bottle::bottle: hayes chin would be stronger as he would not be killin himself to make 200lbs.. more oxygen to the brain and all.
PRICK :owned:
Haye is a good addition to the heavyweight division...He is a very athletic devastating puncher. With that being said, Haye has a glass chin and stamina issues, he will eventually get exposed and knocked out at heavyweight....Macca rocked Haye with a left hook in the 1st round, he could've KO'd Haye if he fought more aggresive and wasn't so timid.
He stunned Haye that was it.
Macca being more aggressive would have mean't him walking onto something, which for sure would have mean't lights out.
Haye= straight up KO specialist.
He COULD get wlad out of there. I'd put money on Wlad doing the right thing, and being super cautious early and then dominating with the jab and stopping him late. Haye is still to open to right hands which is Wlads game. With all that said Haye would put him out if he landed and with his speed, accuracy and timing, it's not just a punchers chance.
I wonder who he would target?
I think he'd do Sam Peter. Personally.
....The ref was shit, but Enzo was overmatched in the power category. He may have had a chance if it had gone further, but as it was he got starched. Haye does not impress me at all. He holds his hands too low, is hittable, and was terribly inaccurate when a completely out on his feet opponent was right in front of him. He missed 5-6 shots in a row before landing another one when Mac was defenseless right in front of him. When Haye faces a big punching heavy he's toast.

What he said....
What kind of amateur pedigree does Haye even have anyway? I know Holyfield was a bronze medalist in the olympics in Atlanta. Didn't Haye win a silver or somethign?
He won HW silver at the world champs
He doesn't have the style, the defense, the chin, or endurance. He's no Evander Holyfield
I reckon thats a bit unfair, he looked bad against Carl Thompson but that was years ago in only his 10th fight and he's came on leaps and bounds since then. He had a couple of shaky moments against Mormeck but nothing to worry about really(probably the big occasion getting to him a bit)
I can see him doing very well at HW
He could destroy a lot of fighters out there and I've always thought it's possible he could pick up a HW belt. However he'll always be vulnerable to the KO; he won't dominate.
Remains to be seen.
Haye will IMO be a contender, perhaps even a champ (unless all the titles are unified) but I wouldn't be too sure about great.
The Hayemaker is a good addition to the heavyweight division and if he keeps knocking people out, a fight with Wlad would be a good one even though I reeeeaaallllly doubt Haye could beat Wlad.
