I have to say i think hes a bitch and a fake. Think about it did we really ask to see
de la hoya vs. mayweather no we were asking for mayweather vs. margarito
or even better did we ask for mayweahther vs. hatton no we were asking for
mayweather to fight the top dog in the WW division miguel cotto.
if you think about it mayweather handpicks fights with people that have marketable names, people he knows he could beat and just hopes for the real challengers(margarito/cotto/williams/mosley take) to eventually lose. he did it with margarito via paul williams, he did it with mosley when he lost his fight to cotto, he did it with williams who lost to quintana and hes hoping for it with cotto(margarito, cintron, gomez take your pick) he does this just so he can say "see i told this guy wasnt that good i problably wouldve knocked him out" but the point is floyd could beat these guys and instead of leaving doubt within the boxing community he should just beat them all and leave none. for some odd reason i think he doubts himself because if he wasnt such a bitch there would be no bullsh*t about "cotto is the real welterweight champ" or "what if margarito fought mayweather a bit sooner"
it would be just plain and simple to see that mayweather is the real welterweight champ this why Joe calzaghe has no problem claiming hes the best supermiddleweight because he fights all challengers to his throne

it would be just plain and simple to see that mayweather is the real welterweight champ this why Joe calzaghe has no problem claiming hes the best supermiddleweight because he fights all challengers to his throne the underlined points you made are pretty fucking rediculous. think about it, you claim floyd hopes that the "real threats" lose so he could say, "i told you," and all of that other bullshit you posted, but leave out that: 1-many people asked to see the pretty boy vs the golden, i mean, isn't that fight, the highest grossing fight in boxing ppv history, hello dumby, open your eyes. and who the hell was asking to see magarito vs mayweather, tell me who. who the hell even knows margarito now. tony lost against paul because paul was better, nothing else. now, as far as mosley losing to cotto, that was just because he lost to the better fighter that night, that's it boy. what's funny about your claim in this one is that, you seem to leave out that many posters on this forum who said mosley had the best shot at beating floyd, switched up really fast after cotto beat him. hmmmmmmm. what does that say about those fuckboys. real boxing experts huh? give me a break. how are they different than floyd in this regard then? they go off of one fight, that shane lost in a close battle, and all of a sudden, since he lost, he isn't the guy for floyd anymore, you really see no threads about him beating floyd, and neither is paul williams, seeing how he lost to quitana. you don't see many threads or posts about him beating floyd anymore do you? i think not. margarito either. so you'll have your little supporters of retards who contradict themselves more consistently than they make logical points, seeing how they don't think before they type, and they'll agree with what you claimed, with your boring rhetoric about floyd, but this thread dies out just like the rest of them, because again, it lacks substance to the 9th degree. stop with the mayweather threads, if you hate him so much, stop posting about him.
you know, we need a fanclub forum for mayweather, and all of the people who hate him "supposedly" should join up really fast, and write about him constantly to show everybody just how much they really don't hate him, they really are fans, just too stupid to admit it.
Skill is proven by level of opposition.
Have some common sense will ya?
if thats common sense where's delahoyas skill. Where is mosely's skill?
do you really believe cotto has more skill than mayweather?
Excuses.
Yap. Yap. Yap.
Excuses.
The simple fact is.
Fake Floyd said this.
"Im not fighting Cotto not enough paper".
So there's really no point in arguing.
Fake FLoyd has clearly expressed his intention to duck.
I for one really wonder what kind of a brain you have.
I mean Fake Floyd already admitted he will duck Cotto and yet you still find excuses for him.
Goodness gracious!
As usual, a buzzword filled post with little to no substance or response to the actual discussion going on. You are a fucking joke.
^^^^^
Fair enough. I think that is a more than respectable opinion to have. I was just merely correcting you that the Cotto fight only became the main priority after he beat Mosley, which was months after the Hatton fight got signed.
If you would have subbed the Oscar rematch in for the Hatton fight, I wouldn't have said a word.
Thread starter:
No one was calling for Mayweather-Cotto instead of Ricky Hatton until a month before the fight. Before November, Miguel Cotto was that guy who held a belt, beating some guy named Quintana (who hadn't beaten Williams yet) and beat Judah (which Floyd had already beaten). After Cotto beat Mosley, people started to figure out that Cotto had set himself apart from everyone started to want to see Mayweather-Cotto. But be fair, if Floyd had fought Cotto before he beat Mosley, there would have been cries of ducking Ricky Hatton, because he called him out, and he has the "perfect style" to beat Mayweather.
Say what you want now, but Cotto was not on the radar before he beat Mosley.
the overall point im trying to make is he should clean out his division(which he can do) and stop leaving fans with a bad taste in their mouth. ive said it before "this is the reason why joe calzghe has no problem saying hes the best in the supermiddleweight division"this is because he accepts all
challengers and doesnt shy away from mandatorys because they dont bring money. hes giving others a shot to come up just as he was given one but every now and then he takes a big fight with a big name such as jeff lacy(at the time was considered mini tyson), peter manfredo jr (know he sucks ass but was some what famous at the time), and mikkel kessler(no brainer).
joe calzaghe has beaten everybody in the supermiddleweight division from
big superstars to fringe mandatorys so no one can complain and say he didnt fight every body his division has to offer because he basically did.
and what if genaro hernandez never gave mayweather a shot because he didnt earn it and he did not bring enough money we probably wouldnt have the mayweather we had today
he basically spits in the face of boxing fans because he doesnt take fights boxing fans want he takes the fights hollywood wants and i know "if it doesnt make dollars it doesnt make sense" but we are his base and we provide a chunk of those ppv buys so he should take care of us first and holly wood second
Everyone still hates you, even your fellow Pinoys.
Even if you are right about him being bad in certain instances, you are one of those idiots who only sees in black and white, and you can't bring yourself to say anything about Floyd without trashing him. That and you make every single topic veer off into a Floyd bashing session because you are a cocksucking, one-trick pony.
Oh yeah, and you are fucking terrible at defending your boy Pacquiao too. Whenever someone questions you about why his last 20 fights have been Mexican legends he pulled out of a retirement home, you say some shit about Floyd being a coward.
Because you are a dickmouth, one-trick pony. Now suck my dick, :blowjob: and shut the fuck up.
:lol1: ........ Tellem
Excuses.
That's all you have.
Who said this?
"Im not fighting Cotto, not enough paper".
DOn't expose your stupidity any more than you already have.
Afterall Fake Floyd has already said so himself that he's a coward.
:nonono: Same shit different day!

And did he say that there wasn't enough money before the Ricky Hatton bout or not?
Fucking idiot, that's what I just called your ass out for. You can't accept that there is any good in anything Floyd does. Yes, he is not fighting Cotto, which is stupid. No, he should have not have fought Cotto before Cotto beat Mosley, because he would have been just another untested undefeated fighter who bit off more than he could chew.
Trivia time: Name someone on Cotto's resume before he fought Shane Mosley that is better than Kostya Tszyu. Can you? No, you can't, meaning that I'm right that Floyd would have gotten shit for fighting Cotto before Mosley, instead of Hatton who had just called him out.
Now is a different story, but obviously, as usual, you are much too fucking stupid to figure any of this out.
My prediction for the reply to this: You will use the word duck 3 times, the phrase "plain and basic common sense" once, and fake 4 times. There actually probably won't be much else to the post either, because you are a fucking idiot who uses buzzwords to make it seem like you are intelligent, when in reality, you and Dave Brown are a pretty fucking even match in intelligence.
I'd pick Margarito to beat DLH and DLH came close to Mayweather...
You know styles make fights right. I have to disagree with you on Margorito beating Oscar. If Oscar can get that left hook on Margorito's chin....Its going to get Margorito's attention. Margorito doesnt have Floyd's defense either. Margorito wont be able to hit Oscar that often. Oscar is a very good boxer and will box Margorito ears off.
I told this site a year ago that if we had more Fake Floyd Gayweathers running around boxing and calling themselves p4p then boxing will be dead.
Everyone hated me.
I told a year ago that Fake Floyd is bad for boxing.
Everyone hated me.
Now Fake Floyd is a proven coward and a duck and resorts to WWE instead of lining up top welters.
Gosh!
Even a kid can see this as plain coward.
I really wonder how fucked up the minds of Fake Floyd fans must be to think he's great.
Everyone still hates you, even your fellow Pinoys.

well that point doesnt make any fucking sense. Why the fuk is he p4p you think? just because he's undefeated and jumped some weight classes?
nah.. its his skill level. And seriously there arent many fighters that go up from 130 pounds naturally, to beat a gold medalist with a very good resume with experience, at 154..
then go on, to face another very hungry undefeated pressure fighter that specializes in body punching... and beat that guy at his own game.
You gotta give him credit for that. And if they were to fight at 140 mayweather wouldve ko'd him within 6.
he fought a past his prime never win in big fights oscar and small school boy
who never was really challenged

Floyd has already paid his dues. He's not a young cat coming up age 24, so stop acting like he's a contender or something. He made 5 categories in 8 years, unnaturaly, meaning he was just heavier and not stronger in some of those fights. If Foyd decides to retire not fighting Cotto noone can blame him, that's the truth. WW is not the natural weight for pbf and if you keep fighting every star out noone would ever retire. Williams, Berto, Cotto are all still young fighters soon to be joined by many more (from both weight directions) and all of them are bigger than Floyd.
You are always whining that welterweight isn't a natural size for Floyd. So tell me, who made him fight there? Was he banned from fighting at 135 or 140? No, he is there because he wants to be. The truth is that he is now a well adjusted and reasonably strong welterweight. He is by no means the smallest welterweight champion ever, Whitaker, Napoles, and Armstrong were all time greats who were even smaller than Mayweather. So please stop with all these "poor Floyd" posts. He is fighting in the division he chose for himself and is doing quite well. Don't ask for sympathy for him when fans insist he fight the other top welterweights. That's what being a world champion is all about.
If Floyd were to fight Cotto and win, he should continue to clear out whoever is seen as a threat in the division. If not, he should then just retire. Basically, if he's going to stay in the game after Cotto, then he should keep fighting top-tier comp.
Well those were my thoughts also...
But I'm saying would it be enough? for people to stop doubting?

I agree but you know boxing is a business, would you retire when you know you can have a last good fight and probably win it for say 20 million dollars? I doubt it. In this case it's boxing who is to blame. And here we go again to the ABC's of boxing. I think they should tighten the rules so we don't see Cotto-Gomez, Mayweather-Oscar II and such fights that have no value whatsoever to the fans and the sport.
Compare this with the mma scene. You have UFC and the new PRIDE coming up which is sure to grow bigger than the UFC. All good fighters are signed for a certain number of fights and they don't get to choose who they fight. The fights are made with the thought of finding the better man, the better fighter. Champions defend against good fighters and fighters like Gomez wouldn't even have a contract and would fight in smaller orgs with no visibility until they become really good. Fighters have only 3 rounds but they fight like 3 times a year sometimes more..
just shut up you dont know what your talking about i think he has very interesting personality but he just doesnt act like that when it comes to time step up and take the challenges offered by non biased boxing fans who actually watch boxing all year round.
.... and by the way if your a fan of wladimir dicksco i would be ashamed becuase i find monkey butt sex more interesting than his fights

What happens when the floyd Cotto fight comes.. *(because it is coming.. you know it is because the money is building and after oscar fight it will be louder.)* And floyd wins... Who should he fight then?
