Predictions on mayweather-cotto if it hapens

Cotto by late stoppage or UD It's obvious speed won't be an issue for Cotto as he's fought 3 legit "Fast" fighters in Judah, Mosley, and Malignaggi. He knows how to pressure a speed fighter. Also it's gonna be tough for Floyd to try and counter punch Cotto because Cotto counters with the best of them and lands accurate and flush punches as shown in the Judah and Mosley fight. He's gotta be patient but aggressive at the same time (which is what he does anyway). The later the fight goes, the worse it's gonna be for Floyd. Both Hatton & De La Hoya tried landing haymakers to throw Mayweather off his game but neither could sit and wait for the opening as what Cotto does in every fight. He breaks you down little by little until in the later rounds where he starts exploding. Floyd is an incredible defender, but I don't even think Floyd knows how strong Cotto is and that might be the deciding factor in the end. Fuck all this...let's the get the fight poppin!!!!

Cotto would win an I this is why: there only 3 people that have fought with both;Cotto and Mayweather 1. Victoriano Sosa fought with Mayweather when Mayweather was 29-0-0 and the outcome was a UD win to Mayweather. When Cotto fought Sosa, Cotto was 18-0-0 and Cotto KO him in just 4 rounds! 2. DeMarcus Corley fought with Mayweather when Mayweather was 31-0-0 Corley staggered Mayweather in the 4th Floyd drop him in the 8th and 10th but the outcome was a UD win to Mayweather. Cotto was 22-0-0 whe he fought Corley. Cotto was staggering and reeling in the 3rd. Corley was knocked down once in the first round & twice in the 5th ending the fight with a % round TKO victory for Cotto 3. Zab Judah fought a 35-0-0 Mayweather and Floyd won another UD while Cotto (29-0-0) KO Judah in the 11 round. Only 3 boxers that have fought with both;Cotto and Mayweather and the ALL have gone 12 rounds with Floyd and they All lost by Stoppage to Cotto! Floyd fought DLH and won by UD, Cotto Fought Mosley who is better than DLH cuz he beat DLH twice and Cotto beat shane by UD. You don't have to agree with me on the outcome of this fight but you have to agree that this fight most happen soon!

I am a fan of both but i disagree, if Cotto barely beat shane who is past his prime i doubt he would get a tko win over floyd everyone has their own opinion though Going by that theory, DLH is way past his prime and was beat twice by Mosley. Mosley has been more active and more successful than DLH, and yet Mayweather barely beat DLH. So how can you discredit Cotto his win over Mosley, without discrediting PBF's win over DLH?

It will be like Floyd vs Baldo 2 if Floyd gets his way. But I think Cotto will be able to work Floyd to the body and trap him on the ropes. No point in headhunting Floyd all he does is swaying in the ropes and make you miss.

The best thing to happen for boxing would be De La Hoya either winning by small margin or anything below that for the Forbes fight. Then Mayweather taking on Cotto for the biggest fight of the year. That's best for boxing, Mayweather doesn't have to since he's definite pound for pound and up there on all-time greats but it's the fight everyone wants and after Cotto knocks out Gomez hopefully will happen. My prediction? ....Pain. Mayweather by UD or stoppage in what most would call a surprisingly easier fight for him than expected.
