Tommy Yankello is a good young trainer who gets in with his fighters and gives good mid-fight advice.
Kenny Weldon. AMAZING amatuer trainer who is dead on with his corner advice and is great for setting up a gameplan.
Ronnie Shields. Consumate professional with accurate advice in the corner and has a great training regiment.
Floyd SR. Makes his fighters work so hard on conditioning, my fat ass would need that, but I wouldn't understand a word he said.
John David Jackson. Corner advice needs work, but he is a very hands on trainer who gives great in fight preparation during trainer, what to expect in certain situations.
And for the dude that called him Cuth D'Mato twice, thats sad and pathetic. How hard is it to remember Cus?
steward. Focusses highly on fundamentals that win you the fight. You will never be lazy with the jab when steward is in your corner.
agreed, he worked wonders on klitschko's jab....needless to say klitschko loves using it now lol
I'd probably go with Eddie Futch if he was still around lol, he was a good trainer and an excellent conerman, firm but compassonate.
If i had to pick one from today id probs go with manny stewart. just seems like he would be easy to get on with and hes a top trainer with tons of experience.
Probably Scully.
No other reason than he'd probably be as good as anyone and he looks like a circa early 90's mobster from Brooklyn with the slick back hair.
Intimidating in an entourage presence.
hahah lolz, ya, kinda like Deniro in goodfellas!!! or was it casino???
What trainer would you choose to be in your corner and why? (active trainers)

Buddy McGirt
The guy can read a fight very well & he always sends his fighters out with the correct intructions ,if Malignaggi had anybody else in his corner against Ngoudjo he may not have sqeaked out the victory IMO
If it wasn't for Buddy he might not have even got to Ngoudjo. It's a shame Buddy gets a bad rap for handling mediocre fighters.
Trainer: Roger Mayweather - Great Boxing Knowledge, Great Instructions, Great Training with emphasis on Fundamentals & Conditioning...
Corner Man: Teddy Atlas - Brutally Honest, know what to say/do to get the best out of his fighters...

Mayweathers - either one.
Next would be possibly Taylors trainer from the Ams before he got Manny.
Or Israel Vazquez's trainer. Definitely 4 of the best trainers that are Active today.
