Vasquez is the best at 122, he has nothing left to prove in 22. Take a long break and go up to 126. Fight a top 10 feather then fight one of the champs.

vasquez future well after a well deserved rest i think he should stay away from a 4th fight and move to featherweight and fight chris john or linares for bigger money he deserves bigger pay days I think he'll do well at 126 and with that left hook and big right that can change a fights course at any time watch out featherweights.:boxing:

He has definitely earned those big money fights. It would be interesting if Vasquez fought Barrera, just based on the fact that Perez now trains Vasquez when he trained Barrera for years. The only reason I mentioned MAB is because Frankie has previously. It is a possibility, that's all I'm saying. If Israel can't earn a lot more money for a 4th fight with Rafa, he needs to move on IMO and earn more money with a different fighter. I do see bigger fighters being problematic for Izzy though. I hate to say that, because he's great, but that's how I see it.

For Vazquez i say move up to 126 and challenge some of the champs there and for Marquez he should stay a 122 and fight the other champs

hes just a true champ, with that 12th round performance.. he was conditioned very very well.. he needs a rest.. 2 more and retire.. hes taken alot of punishment in the past..

Sadly, I think Vazquez is coming towards the end of his career. Hes been in a lot of tough fights. I know most of you guys are just getting big on him now, but hes been fighting for a while. Its a shame hes just starting to get all this recognition now, hes one of my favorite fighters.

Vazquez and Jorge Linares have exchanged words. They already verbally agreed to fight each other. No bullsh!t, i seen it on a Spanish interview somewhere. Ask Alphafrankie maybe? For this fight to happen, Vazquez would be moving up to 126.

I'd like to see him get it in with Ponce De Leon, but Ponce De Leon's people won't make that fight. After a good rest I would like to see him fight PDL as well, but I think PDL and his people know better. So I would like to see him move up in weight and fight either Guerrero or Linares. Maybe even someday fight Rafa's brother if he's still fighting and has something left in the tank.
