I don't want to see a fourth fight

It would be a great fight that would be worth the watch, do not get me wrong. I think this fight for fight is the best trilogy in the history of boxing. I can't name another trilogy that sustained this action constantly through every round of three fights and ended with such fantastic absolute last second possible drama. It was amazing. A fourth fight would only cheapen the legacy, even if it compared to the other three favorably. Why? Well there is simply no reason for a fourth fight competitively. Look at the three fights. The first fight was very even in which Marquez won due to an injury. The second fight Vasquez won by KO and was leading in up to that point. He also won the third by deserved close decision. We have clearly and without question established that Israel Vasquez is just a tiny bit better than Rafael Marquez. It may only be the difference between an A and an A- fighter, but it is noticeable and definite. The fourth fight would only be for money or fans selfishness. I for one would much rather see Vasquez move up and fight Chris John, Guerrero, or Linares and work on the featherweights. That would leave us with Marquez to try to clean up the division he just moved up to. Only after that would a fourth fight have true, true meaning like these three had.
